Stone Mountain Lodge offers rustic cabins and beautiful scenery in Northern Colorado, frequently praised for its affordability and convenient location for weddings and events. While some guests have noted minor cleanliness concerns and road noise, the overall experience is considered positive, especially regarding the helpful staff and stunning outdoor spaces.
Pleasant quiet rooms. It is next to the road so during peak times of travel its is heard. easy to over look. Beds are comfy . Reception is good while they are onsite . They have a shortened schedule . Shower was a tight fit and a low shower head. Kitchenette was good as I cooked ahi tuna, elk burgers and rainbow trout. Wish the outdoor grill had a propane tank. Not too late to cook outside in late September
Went for a wedding. It was beautiful. Just ladies make sure to bring some tennis shoes or comfy shoes for the walk back to your lodge. LoL. But would like to visit here again soon. All the way from Texas. Thank you. ??????
Good Motel that has rooms that are a little older, but clean and cute! Scenery is great, and you will love sitting outside on the picnic tables enjoying your coffee and looking at the scenery. It was really nice at night, as it was quiet and you could hear the crickets and watch the stars. You have to pay attention when driving as you can easily drive by this motel and miss it during the day, and especially at night. I have attached some pictures you can use as landmarks that will be helpful to find this motel at night. When driving to this motel from Estes Park at night, and you see the Colorado Cherry Company Bakery on your left, you will have 5 miles to go to get to this motel. Staff was friendly as well, and helpful.
The view, amazing 5/5 stars. My room however was 1/5 stars. There was hair on the towels and sink, and the water pressure was horrible. I did appreciate that the room came equipped with an extra fan though.
We had the most incredible experience at Stone Mountain Lodge! Ashley was amazing to work with, so kind, organized, and calm, even when things didn’t go exactly as planned. We had a rain delay, and she handled everything so smoothly that we didn’t even have time to stress. This venue does not get recommended enough. It’s one of the most beautiful and affordable spots in Northern Colorado. The outdoor ceremony space is stunning, and the convenience of having most of our guests stay on-site made the whole weekend feel like a retreat. And there is so much space in the cabins it was so great to have all of our family and friends right on site for two nights. We saw some people express concerns about road noise in reviews, but honestly, it was not noticeable at all. Once you're in the venue space, you're surrounded by nature and it feels peaceful and private. Also, the cabins were SO clean and SOOO cute! Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how charming and cozy everything was. If you're dreaming of an outdoor Colorado wedding with natural beauty, affordability, and amazing staff, this is the place. We truly couldn’t recommend it more.
We had our wedding at Stone Mountain on 5-25-25. Ashley & her staff were perfect! This location is beautiful if you're wanting a rustic, mountainous vibe ? We rented the cabins for the wedding party for the weekend and loved every moment of the stay! It was super affordable and they were so accommodating. ? As the bride, knowing Ashley & her team were in my corner & ready for anything, I was even able to get sleep before the wedding day! ? thank you Ashley & team for the beautiful memories!!!
