This Fairfield Inn offers inviting general service and comfortable, clean rooms with standard amenities, though guests report significant frustration regarding management approachability and late maintenance/renovation issues that affect guest health and comfort levels.
The front desk help was friendly and quick to check us in. The front lobby is inviting and comfortable. The rooms were clean and spacious. Our king bed was comfortable. The room had an extra blanket which most hotels forget. Breakfast was balanced with many choices of cold and hot items. Thanks for taking such good care of your facilities. To turn into the hotel from the highway was a bit sketchy since we were coming from the west.
Gracious staff, comfortable room, plenty of useful amenities, refrigerator, coffee, microwave, workout room, hot tub and easy centrally located access - from Little Cottonwood ski areas, downtown, airport.
I’m a two decade plus Marriott member, and I’ve been at the status of platinum for life or over six years. I’ve stayed at this hotel for layover for trip and booked two rooms. The larger room I let my daughter and her kids stay in. they found Used an unused condoms in the room. I reported it immediately to the front desk and asked the front desk person to have the manager call me. This was back in November 2025 and still have not heard from anyone. I don’t know if Marriott sites are having issues or not. I don’t travel as much as I used to . But I feel like consideration of your loyalty no longer matters if it’s the first night or 1100 nights. . I’m not Saying do not stay, just expect more.
Gold elite member and I almost exclusively book with Marriott for work. Breakfast seemed to always be wrapping up 30-45 minutes early as another review said. One of the perks is supposed to be a late checkout which they refused despite the hotel being virtually empty. Next time I’ll just book at the Courtyard.
Service was absolutely horrible, worst I have ever experienced in hundreds of stays at different Marriott properties. Assistant manager Raj in three separate incidents made myself, my spouse and my children very uncomfortable. It got to the point I had tell my children they could not leave the room without being accompanied by an adult. Managers really need to review with Raj about customer service and what is considered appropriate conduct with minors.
They executed well in every area. I would definitely return. Marriot Bonvoy hotels are expensive in the area, and this was mid-low at the $150 range. Rooms: Clean, nice clean bed, good desk setup, working AC, lots of light. Can't complain. Had everything nailed. Obviously it wasn't a suite, but I paid for the basic room. Service: At the desk, good. Professional and helpful. They were at the desk too. Not dawdling somewhere making you wait. Also, they carried an excellent breakfast. Location: A bit off the path. Not too bad. Area was fine. Approaching the actual hotel was a bit jenky, almost accessable via an alley like drive behind other businesses. Still not a bad area with plenty of other stuff around.
Overall our stay was good. Clean rooms comfy beds and everything was good but the breakfast was lacking and when people asked the breakfast staff to refill empty trays they were not friendly and would snap back with “no”. There was still 30-45 min left of breakfast. No eggs or much in the way of healthy options. Only waffles, cereal, and packaged muffins. They would turn off the warmers and close off juice way earlier than the time.
Nice little hotel outside Salt Lake City, free parking and free breakfast. Hard to find with navigation since the hotel is behind a chicken restaurant and car was right next to a Hampton Inn. Has a few restaurants next to it, a Wendy's within walking distance. Breakfast was ok, keeps you filled. Jeanine who was working both the front desk and breakfast station was awesome. Gave us recommendations on some local restaurants. Rooms were on a small side than most Fairfield Inn I have been. The elevator door is small. Barely fits the luggage cart, you had to slant it a bit. There is only a room for 2 people with a luggage cart in the elevator. Ice machine is only located on the first floor.
Jeannie gave great customer service. She is very kind, patient, and accommodating. She gave me a room on the second floor facing the mountain and it is a great view. The complimentary breakfast is great and the housekeeping services did a great job.
This is a good place to stay. Convenient location. Continental breakfast available, starts at 6:30 AM. Desk area, small TV, mini fridge and Microwave. The bathroom has a tub and shower.
