Basecamp Boulder was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The location is incredibly convenient and within easy walking distance to CU’s campus, Folsom Field, and Pearl Street, which made everything so simple and fun. What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Jon was working in the morning and made the best coffee, the perfect way to start the day, and he also gave a fantastic breakfast recommendation that did not disappoint. Later that night, Melina and Kyra were so warm, kind, and attentive, making the whole atmosphere feel welcoming and relaxed. Melina recommended the margarita on tap and the s’mores, and both were absolutely delicious. You can tell the team genuinely cares about creating a great experience, and it really shows. I cannot wait to come back!

Stayed here for 3 nights, great place that feels different from your typical cookie cutter, mid-tier chain hotel, especially considering the price was on the lower side of what many hotels here charge. If you don't have a car, this place is about a half mile from the bus terminal, walkable to downtown, and there is a bike share (B Cycle) station about a minute away. Having the Boulder Creek trail a block behind the place was a nice bonus. The staff were all great, especially John who helped me with some local things to do and super-friendly all around. Rooms are generally good, although there are some small things others have mentioned. The bed was super comfy, the base room is a good size, and it has probably the best in-room coffee I've ever had at a hotel (individual pour-over packets), and I've stayed at hundreds across major chains and independent brands. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room on the second floor as the noise from those comes through easily on the first floor. Also, the shower could be improved - pressure was a little lacking and the head a bit low. On the plus side, the towels were nice and fluffy. The lobby is new and has plenty of common spaces if you are here with a small group - the bar has good priced drinks (happy hour had $6 beers and wine) and the outdoor porch is lovely with the firepits. The climbing wall and game room are nice touches as well. They do have a (large) hot tub and sauna available. Gym is typically small for a hotel of this caliber but they do have 2 Pelotons there and some free weights and mats. There isn't a lot available for breakfast (oatmeal packets, Jimmy Dean sandwiches, etc are available for purchase) but there are some good coffee shops within a 10 minute walk or 3ish minute drive. For lunch, make sure you go to Little Lama Cafe on the Narpoa University campus if you consider yourself a foodie (the lamb curry was delicious!), or Snarfburger next door if you want something a little heavier. Overall, I would absolutely come back here. It has a great unique vibe that's different from so many of the generic mid-tier hotels. The location is solid, the staff are fantastic, and the price is a great value for Boulder.

This was such a good experience. Me and my husband came here to get married and it was a Wonderful experience. The staff is the friendliest and Kyra was just down right amazing. We loved playing jenga, uno, table tennis, and the couples game in the rec room. We also loved having a couple of drinks next to the fire and making s’mores. I saw a hot tub, rock climbing wall, and a movie night poster. This hotel has plenty to do! I will also say I love how the room came with a cooler you can use and carry around. Love love

Got into Boulder late after a long drive and had booked this motel ahead of time. When I got to the room, the carpets were pretty filthy, obvious stains that made the whole place feel unclean. I asked if I could switch rooms or get a refund, and the woman at the front desk was genuinely helpful and patient. We looked at a few other rooms, but unfortunately, all of them had the same issue with stained carpets. At that point, I asked for a refund and started trying to find another place to stay, but everything nearby was booked and it was getting really late after a five-hour drive. I went back and asked if I could just have the original room again. That’s when a younger guy came out from the back said he was the manager — and immediately snapped, “Yes, I’m the manager, I’ve been summoned up here because of YOU. What do you need?” Really unnecessary attitude, especially since I’d been calm and polite even apologetic when I probably shouldn’t have been. I let him know he didn't need to get sassy with me, that I was working with the gal at the front and we were good. He told me I’d probably be more comfortable elsewhere and insisted the carpets had been cleaned. I mentioned that I’d been able to rub one of the stains up myself, so they clearly hadn’t been cleaned recently. His response was “That’s nice.” His personality was so bad it actually crossed over into being mildly entertaining. I ended up leaving the next morning to go on an extensive hike and didn’t return. I let them know the keys were in the room. No, I didn’t get a refund even though I paid for like 3 nights. The only positive part of this experience was the woman at the front desk who genuinely tried to help. I didn't catch her name but I wish I had. Otherwise, the condition of the rooms and the manager’s attitude made this a pretty unpleasant stay. ### update: spoke with the front desk and got my stay refunded. they are under new management and changing things up

I had a fantastic time at Basecamp Boulder! It was everything I was looking for! The staff was so friendly and helpful, giving me awesome local recommendations. It was a nice little walk (~15 minutes) to Pearl street. The vibe here is just great. Comfortable, clean rooms, really nice amenities like a hot tub, game room with a climbing wall, lobby bar where you can get a beer in the evening and a great latte in the morning, and amazing staff. What more could you ask for!

We had such a great experience at Basecamp Boulder! My family stayed here for the football game this weekend, and it couldn’t have been more convenient, just a short walk to the stadium and close to Pearl Street for restaurants and shops. The atmosphere was welcoming and fun, and the staff made our stay even better. Jon, Cameron, Melina, and Melissa were all so friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Boulder!

This is a 3 star hotel not the 4 star it is listed as. (A 4 star hotel is like a Marriott ). Think an eclectic, fun, updated Motel 6. There was a fun game room with rock wall. Huge hot tub spa was great! Happy hour drinks and a fun, friendly staff. Jon was great! We enjoyed our stay here. Location and price cannot be beat. Half a mile walk from Pearl street! Hotel rooms have been modernized but still need some updating. All said, we would stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay! We had our 6- and 8-year-old with us and wanted something unique—and this was perfect. From Amoré’s coffee in the morning, to rock climbing, the hot tub, sauna, and so much more, there was always something to do. We made s’mores by the fire, brought food back to enjoy outside, grabbed amazing burgers next door, and even spent time down the street at the creek where we tubed and swam. We walked to Pearl Street easily, and the location was perfect for our weekend—home at night, then heading into the mountains each day for a consulting event. The room was great—three of us slept comfortably in the king bed and one in the pullout. Everything felt cozy, clean, and welcoming. And the cookies available anytime? Yum! Couldn’t have asked for more. We’d stay again in a heartbeat!
