Recent reviews indicate a mixed experience at the Courtyard by Marriott Denver Aurora, with some guests praising the room quality and amenities, while others highlight significant issues with front desk service and inconsistent shuttle schedules. The hotel appears to have inconsistencies in service levels and potentially racial bias.
Had to come here for work and it hasn't been a good experience. I tried checking in around 430PM and the room was not ready. A bunch of us ended up sitting around the lobby for another 30mins up to an hour until the rooms were prepared. The rooms were good and I had no complaints about that. The food was good but expensive imo. Service was not that good. Some were not very good at dealing with customers, especially the woman at the front desk. I signed up for my shuttle to return to the airport @6am and they took almost 20mintues later to finally leave, so dont expect them to keep to their schedules.
Front desk staff need some customer service guidance. She didn’t care I was a Bonvoy member even after I told her I was. She didn’t take my #. This hotel is an inconvenience from the parking to the concrete steps you have carry your luggage up. I travel to Denver 6xs a year. I won’t be back here. Thanks to the service desk associate who was too bothered to show or tell me kindly where the elevators are.
As soon as we walked into the lobby the front desk clerk was hospitable and very welcoming. She even had treats for our fur baby. The room was very nice and spacious. The bathroom was clean and very well stocked. The bed was comfortable and so was the couch. Big screen TV was good. Thank you.
Not even as much as a complimentary coffee/tea station? And paid parking nightly? Stingiest Marriott hotel I've stayed at in a while. Rooms themselves were okay, can't say much about the staff as we didn't have much interaction beyond checking in/out. I think for the money I'd look elsewhere next time, options are not limited around here.
This is a beautifully appointed room. It was very spacious with a couch and table as well as a desk. The bathroom was great with a walk in shower. It is very modern and clean. The bed was comfortable and the room I stayed in had a nice view of the mountains. This would be great for a longer stay. The room had a microwave, small refrigerator, and coffee maker.
There is this guy with good vibes allways, he is the best in this place, forgot the name but always kind, friendly and funny. We and my colleagues had a good stay thanks to this great customer service. Hot Chocolate & hot cider at the lobby is an amazing welcome thing.
We had a wonderful stay overall. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. PJ at the front desk truly made our experience—friendly, and professional. The only small downside was that the pillows were lumpy.
In a platinum reward member and have been using Marriott for years. This guy from the front desk keeps up the weird energy and attitude with me mostly because I’m black. Bangs on my door at 2:20 saying that he doesn’t think I can afford to be here and I need to go. Meanwhile I’m waiting to see if I should get on a flight to meet my family today or tomorrow with the late check out of 4pm that you get as a platinum member. The racism is clear with him and definitely ruined the ending of my stay.
