The Hilton Garden Inn near the airport offers a convenient location for travelers, particularly those with early flights. While generally clean and comfortable, recent reviews highlight inconsistencies in guest service, a neglected pool area, and occasional maintenance issues like elevator outages and water quality concerns.
This is my first time at this property. I booked it because we generally like Hilton Garden Inn properties and have an early flight. Location is great with several dining options nearby. Lobby is updated, everything looked and smelled clean. The room needs some PM- paint chips, stain on the bedroom carpet, old caulk etc. There is no streaming service on the TVs. (?!?!) They have basic cable and the on-screen guides didn't even work to see what was on the few channels they have. Overall not a bad property but come join the rest of us in 2026. Please.
The hotel is well-positioned, not too far from the airport and business hubs. The check-in was close to midnight, and the receptionist did an outstanding job. Even though the guest before me was very frustrated with the host because of the kind of water provided free to diamond members. During the stay, the hotel and room were clean. On the first day, I used the breakfast buffet, and it was a typical Hilton continental breakfast. Service needed a little more tweaking so you can multitask and acknowledge all the guests. It is not an easy job, but it is doable with the right coach and practice. I overheard a guest order a custom breakfast, and I was very excited to do the same the next day. The next day, I seated myself behind the bar because it was so busy and there were no clean tables to sit at. Helped myself with a cup of coffee and waited for the team to catch up. During that time, I was not acknowledged at all. Another party entered, was acknowledged immediately, cleaned the table to sit at, and placed an order at the same time with a presented menu. At this moment, I decided to leave and go across the street to the breakfast restaurant. Let's work on hospitality, and this place will rock the world ?!
Stayed here two nights on a business trip. Here are a few observations: Parking - plenty of spaces and free, although the spaces are pretty tight. Staff - I didn’t really have any interactions with the staff since I checked in through the app and used phone to access my room. Room - your average room. It was clean and enough space for me flying solo. Air conditioning worked well. If you like a room to be very dark you may find their rooms not dark enough. The curtains are decorative and aren’t meant to shade the windows, they have a pull down darkness shade but enough light still gets through around the perimeter. Annoying lights emanate from the microwave as well. Bed and pillows - the king bed was quite firm, just how I prefer. Pillows were decent and included king and queen size pillows. Bathroom - clean and bright. Full size blow dryer. Shower was walk-in with sliding glass doors, it is very narrow and you’ll bang your elbow on the sides or rail on the wall if you’re not careful. Workout room - better than most hotels in this range. 3 treadmills and good space and quality dumbbells. You do have to walk through the pool area to get to it. Other - fire alarm went off the first evening and it took a long time for them to figure out how to turn it off even with the fire department’s help. Sounded like there wasn’t any cause for alarm and that this had happened before. A couple rooms on the lower floor were flooded that I noticed as people were making their way back to their rooms and housekeeping was working furiously to mop it up. Area - I would say if you’re just staying at the hotel for a place to rest your head then it’s fine, otherwise the area isn’t the best. At the turn in from the Chambers road side there is a homeless shelter. You will see transients walking through the area, mostly toward the chambers and 40th end. I’ve stayed here before and would probably stay here again, but only on business trips. I wouldn’t look to stay here on a personal trip. I think the issues with the fire alarm and seemingly lack of communication about what was going on or updates was a little frustrating as well.
Stayed here before an early flight out of Denver, and it was exactly what I needed—clean, comfortable, and easy. The room was quiet (a big win before travel day), the bed was comfortable, and everything felt well-kept. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially when coordinating the airport shuttle. The location is super convenient to the airport, which takes a lot of stress out of early departures. The shuttle does run on a schedule, so plan ahead if you need a specific time. Also, breakfast isn’t included, but there are options on-site if you want something quick before heading out. Overall, a solid and reliable airport hotel that makes travel days smoother. Even Salz & Peppa would call this one case closed ??????
Room was just what we needed…clean, comfortable, and convenient to the airport. Due to a fluke system wide Hilton outage, it took us awhile to initially get checked in, but front desk supervisor, Mariana, was kind and did everything she could to accommodate guests. She and her colleague were superstars. Really great stay.
Airport shuttle took an hour to get me from the time I called the hotel even though they said 20-25min. It was 11pm at night I would have just gotten an uber if I’d known it was going to take that long. The next day it was full and I had to get an uber. Rooms were ok. I would have saved money and time going to a hotel with a better airport shuttle. Wouldn’t stay here again.
We stayed there when our flight was canceled to dallas. The hotel was clean and well lite. They wouldn’t let us check in 15 mins early, I guess it doesn’t matter if you’re a priority member. Kit was a nice room, clean pillows never are good traveling. We played domino on the big white table and brought our own snacks and had drinks from the bar. Fun killing time with friends. We ate at Ted’s. It was fabulous, try the onion rings and a buffalo steak. Would stay there again. Priced right.
The rooms are pretty standard for a Hilton, functional and comfortable. We enjoyed the zero percent products in the shower. The desk was polite and helpful. The gym is also decently passable, with a variety of workout equipment. The lobby was comfortable and clean. Where the hotel fails is the pool, it looks quite unkempt, and was in bad need of repairs. The temperature was ice cold, the wall lining was crumbling with a pile of plaster on the pool bottom. It is suspect whether or not the pool filter system was even on. Although I have seen worse I expected better when carrying the Hilton name.
With clean rooms and a convenient location, I wanted to give this hotel a better review. My favorite aspect of the stay was the fitness center. It was spacious, with 6 cardio machines, a cable machine, dumbbells, and kettlebells. One of the elevators was down for the duration of my stay. Not a huge deal, but looking through other reviews, it seems that it has been out for a while, which starts to feel neglectful. I had some issues with the staff as well. They were a bit rude at check in. At one point, the water was out in the fitness center. Not a big deal, I was in there at 5 am, and it was quickly refilled, so they get a plus there. The water fountain in the lobby was flashing to replace the filter. When I reported the issue, they had maintenance turn off the light. People refilling their waters have no way of knowing whether they are drinking clean water or not. They offered me bottled water, but I try to avoid needlessly creating more trash, so I instead went out of my way to refill in the fitness center. Changing a water filter should not be a big ask. Overall, I would stay here again, but Hilton normally has higher standards than this.
