The Cambria Hotel Denver International Airport consistently receives positive feedback for its comfortable rooms, convenient airport shuttle service, and friendly staff. While some concerns regarding dated furnishings and breakfast have been raised, many guests highlight the hotel's value, cleanliness, and overall enjoyable stay, particularly its helpful service.
Great stay! Incredibly affordable for 2 king beds and a pullout sofa bed. We used the airport shuttle twice and it was easy to book. Everyone at the front desk was helpful. The lobby is beautiful with tons of space to sit and relax. Some of the furnishings are dated and we saw some wallpaper peeling if you're worried about that kind of thing. Would absolutely stay here again!
Yes the shuttle from the airport took a while. Expect to wait 30-45 mins but overall excellent service and our room was very comfortable and well laid out compared to some other hotels we've stayed at recently. We were impressed at having a 2nd TV in the couch area and the bed and bathroom were very nice. Our Keurig was broken, so we did let them know but coffee was available downstairs. We had excellent service at the hotel bar restaurant even though it was late. I did not feel the prices were outrageous, unless it is happy hr or something I expect to pay $7-$9 for a nice beer these days. Enjoyed wings and salads after a long day of travel. Our shuttle left early and got us to the airport on schedule. We would definitely stay here again.
The lady who makes breakfast just didn't show up on 6-5-26. I missed breakfast I PAID FOR as part of the room cost. I was counting on that because I like a full breakfast and I had an early flight and didn't want to get gouged at the airport. It is a huge part of the reason I booked here. No sympathy from the young lady at the desk. Oh, well. Won't go back. And you know what? Not just because I missed breakfast (stuff happens) but because the young lady at the desk had such a cavalier attitude about it. The shuttle driver (Otis) was great!
This is by far my new favorite hotel to stay at in the Denver area! I can’t tell you enough how amazing the staff is here including the manager!! They go above and beyond, always! My husband and I have been staying here for the past few weeks and I feel so comfortable and at ease here. I honestly don’t want to leave! Housekeeping doesn’t bother you daily,…unless you want them to! It’s a quiet, classy & comfortable environment all throughout the hotel. The rooms are spacious and I love how they are designed! The air conditioning blows cold with zero noise, pull down blinds to blackout your room if desired, bedding and pillows are amazing….they literally give you six pillows so you don’t have to fight your husband over them!! lol *24hr laundry on site on the first floor ***Special thanks to everyone here that made our stay Perfect! Your hard work does not go unnoticed***
The lobby is well done, great comfy furniture and a fun style. The people at the front desk are really exceptional, nicer than at many other similar hotels. The breakfast was suprisingly delicious. It's not free, and it's custom made not a buffet type thing. 30 bucks for 3 people is pretty affordable too. The room seemed weird at first - the bathroom is really small, so I thought "yikes" at first and the layout is a bit odd with this small-ish but super functional living room area with a desk and very comfy couch daybed thingy. For me and my 2 girls this was a great space. The microwave came in handy, and the coffee bar area works well. The bed was pretty comfy, and the room was nice and dark. In particular this room was extremely quiet for one of these types of hotels. I've had thin walls, places where you hear other doors closing loudly all throughout the night, people talking in the hall, etc - and here I heard NOTHING. Exactly what you want to hear in an airport hotel when you have an early flight. Overall for a 100 buck place with a shuttle back to the airport, I could not have been happier. Don't expect the Ritz - the rooms have a few flaws like some peeling wallpaper in 1 small spot, etc. But the housekeeping does their job well, and the staff at the front desk are very good. And the lady at the restaurant can really cook. So thumbs way up.
I almost didn’t book this hotel because of some of the negative reviews, but I’m really glad I did. My experience was excellent. The rooms were modern, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was great and I slept well. I also had an interaction with the night staff around 2:00 AM and they were friendly and helpful, which always says a lot about a hotel. The property itself felt well maintained and welcoming. And a big bonus: parking was free, which is becoming rare and was very much appreciated. Some reviews mentioned concerns about breakfast, but overall the stay itself was comfortable and enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again.
This hotel really shines! The food in the restaurant is delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. The mattress was very comfortable, not too firm or too soft. The pillows were fresh and fluffy. I asked and they told me that they are a synthetic alternative to down. We called the hotel from the airport in order to use the shuttle. The gentleman at the desk gave us clear directions through the large airport to the shuttle’s location. Service was prompt. I can’t say enough about the food. If you want a hearty meal before you hit the slopes, this is the place to stay. .
Although we were staying at the nearby Hyatt, we were referred to the Cambria to use their laundry facilities, and the manager was incredibly accommodating and kind. He personally helped us access the laundry room and explained the setup. While one washing machine and one dryer were out of service, the remaining two washers and one dryer were fully functional, efficient, and got the job done without any issues. Later, he also allowed us access to the gym so we could use the scale to weigh our luggage before traveling—something that was extremely helpful and much appreciated. This level of customer service, flexibility, and genuine hospitality did not go unnoticed. Thank you for making a stressful travel day much easier. Exceptional service like this truly stands out.
Missed my United connection and got vouchers for a room & a meal here and it was a much needed relaxing stop after all the travel stress. I got a king sized bed with a lovely view. The room was in great condition and the service was wonderful. Lydia helped me with the food and she is literally the BEST. So lovely and made such a great breakfast ? Then front desk person was super helpful with the shuttle service as well. Just overall such a fantastic experience!
Where to start? There were so many bad things about this hotel. I feel deceived. The pictures online looked decent, it appears to be a nice hotel to spend the night with your family. Nice is the farthest thing from the truth about this hotel. I give it 0 stars. Please do yourself a favor and do not stay. 1. The room: The room had scratches all over the wall, one that appeared red, perhaps blood? The furniture looked used, like it was picked up free from Marketplace. The remote and other items were dirty. The faucet water in the bathroom smelt like a porta potty, the blinds were buckled, the bathroom had a sign that had appeared to be re-attached to the wall poorly along with cigarette stains. And in the corner there is plaster coming off from the corner and it appears there was water damage at this property? There was a hum the whole night, I think from faulty wiring. The lights in the room would not shut off completely by the switch. I had a hard time sleeping here. The entire place, especially the room wreaked of cigarette smoke. I didn't dare drink or brush my teeth with water from this room. 2. The hotel: hallways were scuffed with scratches. This is all throughout the hotel! The exit sign was at floor level and hung upside down?! They said they offered breakfast, there was nothing. The one elevator sounded haunted and worked only on occasion. 3. The pool: The hot tub was a complete joke! It was OVERFLOWING with water. My kids stepped into it and water seeped out and starting to flow into the pool 5 feet away. The pool had bugs in and near it. And it was so dirty! The water was barely luke warm and the bubbles did not work. There was a weird gritty sand substance at the bottom? (the hotel is not near a beach). The worst hot tub I have seen. The pool wasn't much better. Much smaller than pictured and freezing. I guess before staying I should have done a deep dive into the reviews. I regret staying here and bringing my kids here. It did not feel like a safe place, and I did not want them to leave my sight. From other reviews, I saw many people had items stolen from their rooms and/or cars. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT SPEND MONEY HERE! This place needs to be closed desperately for a cleaning and remodel.
