This Residence Inn offers a spacious and comfortable stay with excellent amenities and a convenient location near Interlocken. While some recent reviews highlight operational issues, the overall experience appears positive, particularly regarding staff friendliness and breakfast offerings. A persistent concern about grill functionality warrants attention.
Stayed here for 2 weeks on a business trip. It was my first time in the area and was looking at many options before deciding on the Residence Inn. It was the single best decision I made the entire trip. I basically got to live here and use most of the amenities extensively and almost everything was perfect. Rooms were clean, more than enough space for a solo traveler and you basically have everything you need, everything! The shuttle service was great, used it every day and Susi made the drive super relaxing and enjoying. Breakfast was good, laundry room was nice, front desk was always helpful and accommodating, most of the staff was bilingual and that help me feel right at home. The only negative feedback I have is for the outdoor grills, it's nice the hotel has them but one doesn't work and the other barely does, the hotel has complementary utensils you can use but handling a guest dirty utensils.. it's a no-no. Other that that, my stay was great and the next time I'm in town I know where I'm staying, no need to look at other options form now on.
Update: after getting verbally abused by Caleb, I won’t be allowing anyone in my company to stay at Marriott hotels going forward. The staff I interacted with were not trained well. Additionally they were understaffed. Check in was a significant process. Overall the room cleanliness was bad (maybe I should lower my rating). Lack of food and restaurant offering was unfortunate. Won’t stay here again and don’t recommend it.
I need to shout out Charlie. He was amazing and so helpful. I can’t imagine how frustrating it must be for the staff here. They work hard but it seems like they are set up for failure by management. Our rooms were not clean. We ended up having to move because our key card reader stoped working. Breakfast was discontinued and then after tons of complaints reinstated. Our cold water was turned off in our bathroom we kinda fixed it our selves. I would not recommend this place for anyone I care about. But again it seemed like the staff was working hard to try and make things right.
This was my first time visiting Colorado. We had a breathtaking view of the mountains!!! And this is my first time being at this hotel and it was a wonderful experience. Anthony provided the best customer service. He was very nice and friendly. The breakfast there was top tier and it was also located in a very good spot where you could enjoy walking to restaurants. And enjoying the scene
Great space in lobby to hangout and relax. Excellent breakfast. So many tables, sofas, art, private booths in the lobby and outside seating, it's a great place to relax before going to bed. Breakfast has 10 jars of various seeds, sliced almonds, walnuts, coconut dried, cranberries, honey, brownsugar for the oatmeal. 4 kinds of egg, meat, muffin, souffle. Yogurt and rest of typical continental breakfast items including waffles. Huge free parking lot is a bonus in Colorado. Hotel crew are nice and do not bother you unnecessarily.
