Recent feedback indicates significant problems with room conditions, including unsanitary conditions, pest infestations, and a lack of housekeeping services. While some guests appreciate the friendly staff and location, recurring complaints about billing errors and facility maintenance emerge consistently. Overall, the property needs substantial improvement to meet guest expectations.
Ms.Heather and Mr.bobby were great! Ms.heather helped us get checked in late and Mr.bobby got us towels at 7am .. we appreciate both of them very much! I recommend staying here ! 100 times
We recently stayed at this hotel and had an awful experience. The lobby smelled of musty sewage, people were openly smoking (weed and cigarettes) in the halls and elevator, the room smelled like smoke, the hallways were filthy, and our room had not been thoroughly cleaned (crumbs, liquids, stains, etc). On the last day I noticed BUGS in the grime behind the toilet. For such a new hotel I am shocked it could be in such an awful state. We had a schedule that really only had us at the hotel when the front desk was closed, otherwise we would have asked for a refund. Other guests mentioned their rooms being just as bad. Only stay here if you’re looking for someone adjacent to a pig sty.
I think this was the oddest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. My parents and I stayed here for 10 days to visit with my sister from another state and I’m not quite sure what housekeeping does besides washing the towels and bedsheets because no one came to change the sheets or take out trash the whole time we’ve been there. I know at other hotels we’ve stayed at, housekeeping would come pick up the laundry if you put it by your room door, but at this one, you bring it to the front desk and exchange it for new ones. My step-dad said staff told him that someone would be coming to change the sheets one day, so keep stuff off the bed, but no one came that day. So we waited another day, still no one came. When he asked about it, he was told that they were short-staffed and he ended up getting the bedsheets himself to change it. You’d think someone would atleast show up one day out of the 10 we stayed. We would go somewhere almost everyday and I remember seeing two female staff working together in the hall and another guy going into rooms, but never made it to ours. It seems like no one mops the floors neither in the elevator and hallways because my mom would point out the sunflower seeds or water on the floor everytime we pass it to see how long it would take before someone cleans it. If pets are allowed, atleast keep it clean. The sofa bed I slept on still had dog hair from previous guests so obviously there’s no vacuuming there. Also, BYOPAP (bring your own pots and pans). This is the first hotel I’ve ever known to not serve breakfast, but atleast there’s a kitchen in the rooms. I didn’t see that you’d have to pay for dishes and a coffee maker at the front desk on the website, so the warning for out-of-state travelers would be nice. The doors in the hotel aren’t very wheelchair accessible since we didn’t see any buttons for handicap persons, so someone would have to hold the doors open for them, which is kind of sad since it says wheelchair accessible on their website. Those doors are not easy to open either and you’d have to be fast with the key. I told my other sister about this experience since she worked housekeeping for LaQuinta and even she said that’s weird. Hopefully, management will consider some of these things in the future, but after seeing most of these reviews, I highly doubt it and that’s why I think Super 8 was a better stay than this one, but I guess you get what you pay for.
I had a very disappointing experience staying at this hotel. The room had a strong smell of urine as soon as we walked in, which made the stay extremely unpleasant. Cleanliness clearly was not a priority. When making the reservation, we specifically requested a handicap-accessible room, but that request was not honored when we arrived. This created a major inconvenience and was very frustrating, especially since accessibility was an important need for our stay. There were four people staying in our room, yet we were only given two towels. When we called the front desk to request additional towels to be brought to the room, we were told that the hotel does not deliver towels to guest rooms. This meant we had to go get them ourselves, which is very inconvenient and not what you expect when staying at a hotel. On top of that, there were no amenities available whatsoever. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor service, and failure to honor our reservation request made this a very frustrating stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Very clean and a very quiet Hotel, too bad management is too lazy to make sure that their hotel is safe for everyone. They are smoking so much weed up here that it is coming in everyone's rooms and the management refuses to do anything about it. I'm going to have to go to another hotel and spend the night. Management refuses to go find out who is smoking marijuana and spreading it through the hotel. This lady is lazy as hell.. needless to say I won't be staying at any more woodspring Suites
They have rhe beat workers lily in housekeeping is wonderful she will help anyone and the gm kathy is a beautiful person and the a asst Manger works her butt off
Absolutely disgusting. Dog fur and hair stick all over the carpet in the elevator and floating along the floor in the lobby. Very odd smell in the hallway. Was initially given one room and when our key didn't work and.lugged all our stuff back down to the lobby we were told we had the wrong room and we were 2 floors down. Room smelled like pee and there were splash marks all over the floor and hair on the bedspread. We didn't even check the bathroom but decided to check out immediately. The clerk at the front desk went up to inspect our room and told us that the floor wasn't sticky so the splash marks must be from the mop. Would not recommend.
Management is horrible, she has no customer service skills and yells at employees as well as guests. Unable to handle high stress situations. Why even book a reservation if you’re not going to be able to honor it and other guests who are trying to extend their stays take preference over incoming guest. And facility only send a email for cancellation Management also made sure that we weren’t very welcomed because we were in town for a softball tournament. Had to wait well after 3 to get checked in because our room wasn’t ready and the floor is sticky. Refrigerator was still dirty and had to wipe down prior placing any food or drinks.
I never write reviews. But my experience with this hotel has been so atrocious that I felt I had to. By the time of writing this I have been charged 4 times by the hotel for my stay. And they genuinely don’t care. I paid through booking.com who was actually helpful, and they vouched that I paid, although the hotel didn’t believe me so they kept charging me. Eventually I came in and had to pay again at the counter, and they let me stay. Although they had already let me into my room at this point. So my belongings were in there. But since they didn’t believe that I paid, they deactivated my room key, with my belongings locked inside so I had to get that dealt with. Honestly booking.com was pretty helpful in this situation but the hotel was not. They couldn’t care less that they charged me 4x the amount agreed upon. Now I get the pleasure of fighting for a rather substantial amount of money that was taken from me. When you really break it down, the money was flat out stolen from me by this hotel. They also didn’t have the room I reserved available, so I was given a downgrade to a different room, but all the times I was charged, it was still for the other room. Not once in the disaster did anyone at the hotel even attempt to apologize for the inconvenience or for their mistakes. They just didn’t seem to care at all. It was honestly upsetting that they were so ignorant of their mistakes, or too cocky to try to even fake being considerate to a paying customer. Also the whole hotel smells weird. I don’t know how to describe it, it’s just strange. I would rate this hotel a 0/10 if I could. Stay away at all costs.
I have stayed here for about a month and I really like it. The staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful. The view of the mountains are unbelievable and I'm from here. They have a laundry facility and small workout room. If you have groceries delivered you are still able to do that here. The one thing I wish was better is how thin the walls are. My neighbor will have the alarm on their phone go off for over an hour and it's like it is right next to me including the vibrating. Also, not the building itself but if you walk, the amount of sidewalks aren't great around the streets. They are kinda random where they are and aren't. Other than that I've enjoyed my stay here and I would recommend.
