The Travelodge by Wyndham Longmont offers a generally affordable option in the Longmont area, with recent reviews praising friendly staff, a welcoming atmosphere, and convenient amenities like free breakfast and a pool. However, there are concerns regarding slow deposit refunds and outdated furniture in some rooms.
I have stayed here numerous times under this new management and the manager has gone above my expectations of service. He is very nice and accommodating in times that have made it impossible for me to stay here. Just explain to him is all. Just keep your room clean. I have only seen one trash can that was not emptied. I will continue to stay here as long as I can. Rooms are clean very nice ! Manager is Excellent with his Service ? Thank you Joseph ?
For the price, this is good find. The room we were given, room 106, was old but had some upgrades. The Refrig, microwave, TV and matress were newer. There was an excellent selection of TV channels. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The bed was clean, and comfortable. The water was hot and the AC cold. Breakfast was simple. If you are looking for a new hotel, there are several across the freeway but they are all around $175 per night. So if you want to save $100 or so per night, this is a solid option. Be aware there is no elevator and there are two floors. The area is good with Taco Bell right next door and multiple gas stations around. A food truck operates in the parking lot. This is not a new, shiny hotel, but it was clean, simple and safe.
Well for 1they had no vacancy, but I'm sure glad they didn't I went elsewhere!!THANK GOD!!! I walked in there and man I was hit with a very pungent moldy smell and like a nursighome scent all in one!! Ad around back towards the back where I had to turn around because I have a trailer, was again like a nursighome with elders hanging out in wheelchairs, got the feelings they been there for a while. But overall the smell in the air was what got me. NO THANKS WE WILL NOT BE STAYING. GOOD THING THEY HAD NO VACANCY!!!
Pros: Beds were comfortable and clean. Very friendly staff and easy check in. Free parking/breakfast. Washer/dryer on site for laundry. Restaurants close by were semi walking friendly. Microwave, mini fridge in the room. Neutral: Outdated/old furniture. Pillows were uncomfortable. Cons: The floors and ceiling fan were VERY dirty. You can tell the ceiling has never been cleaned because the dust and dirt were CAKED on.
The owner was extremely kind and welcoming! Everything was perfect. This is much safer area than Denver in terms of theft — it's a great option for people planning to keep luggage in their car
The staff here is incredible and accommodating, the lobby is very inviting and coffee available all day was a nice treat as I am a coffee lover who drinks it at all hours. The Christmas tree was a nice touch especially being that I am not with family this holiday season but still able to enjoy the presence of decorations. The rooms were clean and there is a swimming pool to enjoy and my husband's service dog enjoys the space out back to walk in the morning. We will definitely stay here again!
The rate was very reasonable , and the room was clean however when it’s time to check out and get the deposit back . It’s a whole big ordeal . Before booking I called to ask about this . I asked do you release the deposit right away and he said only if you’re a Wyndham rewards member . I replied so if you’re not a rewards member then you guys will hold and play with my money .. and he just replied yea .. Then after I made the charge to book the charge was pending and says it will be updated with the final amount which should have been the room booking and the deposit should have been released as it was only pending . Instead of releasing it they put the whole charge through and supposedly issued a refund . When I check on it a refund is pending but the hotel hasn’t paid it out yet now they are saying that it can take up to two weeks when all he had to do was update the charge and release the deposit . Might want to check on that news article from 2023 where they gave someone’s room key and that person who had the key entered the room unauthorized and hurt the tenant . They were sued for four million and lost . The side at the desk isn’t very nice .. and there is no public transportation anywhere in the area . Nearest bus stop heading west is 6.6 miles. Had to walk it . Once back I checked on the deposit and it still wasn’t pending hours later after check out so o called and told him I would leave a bad review . All the sudden two minutes later the deposit was pending , but three days later he still hasn’t paid the deposit out only marked it as pending refund . This guy is a bad business man who plays with peoples deposits . By the way I am a rewards member . Then when I called and mentioned the bad review I would leave he said to call the bank lol and that the day before I checked out late, which I was booked for a second day . This place is bad business and he holds your deposit forever . Don’t do business here !
Moving across the country is never easy, and when I came to Colorado from Florida, I was honestly scared about how everything would turn out. I didn’t know if I’d be able to find a place that was both affordable and comfortable, and I was worried about starting this new chapter of my life. From the very first day I walked in, this hotel completely changed that for me. They welcomed me with such warmth and kindness that I immediately felt at ease. The prices are more than fair, which was such a relief during a stressful time, but it wasn’t just about affordability — it was about the way I was treated. The staff here, especially the owner, showed a generosity and genuine care that I’ve rarely seen anywhere else. They made me feel like more than just another guest — they made me feel like family. Every morning, they provide a grab-and-go breakfast from 6–9am, which might sound simple, but when you’re adjusting to a new place, small comforts like that mean the world. The location is also perfect, surrounded by plenty of food options, making life so much easier as I got settled in. But beyond the convenience, what really touched me is the heart of this place. The owner is one of the most generous, down-to-earth people I’ve ever met. Their kindness turned what could have been a very overwhelming time in my life into something manageable, even hopeful. This hotel gave me more than just a roof over my head. It gave me comfort, stability, and a sense of belonging during a time when I felt lost. For that, I will always be grateful. If you’re looking for more than just a place to stay — if you’re looking for a place where people truly care — this is where you’ll find it.
Travelodge by Wyndham Longmont is hands down the best experience I’ve ever had with any hotel. From the moment I checked in, the service has been absolutely top tier. The owner and staff go above and beyond for their guests — and I truly mean above and beyond. The morning breakfast (6–9am) is always fresh and welcoming, the pool is clean, the rooms are spotless, and everything feels updated and comfortable. The beds are cozy, the bathrooms are modern and well-kept, and the TVs are great quality. Any small issue I’ve ever had, the owner fixed immediately without hesitation. But what really sets this place apart is the owner himself. He is honestly one of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve met since moving from Florida to Colorado. He understood my situation and helped not only me, but also my girlfriend and even my friend when we needed it most. He gave us an amazing deal, and he’s provided us with some of our first warm showers since coming out here. He’s given my girlfriend and my dog a roof over their heads, and that’s something I can never thank him enough for. The way he treats people makes you feel like family. If I could literally live here, I would — that’s how good the experience has been. I’ve stayed in many places, but I’ve never met anyone nicer, more caring, or more dedicated to making sure guests are comfortable and taken care of. If you’re looking for clean, updated rooms, great amenities, and service that truly comes from the heart, Travelodge by Wyndham Longmont is the place to stay. Writing this review brought me to tears because you all don’t know how much I appreciate this man for all that he has done for me, my girlfriend, my friend and dog!
