I rarely leave negative reviews but this stay was extremely disappointing. Cleanliness was below average, staff seemed uninterested in helping, and the overall experience did not match the photos or reviews online. One of the reasons that we chose this hotel was for the “free” continental breakfast. We were very excited & woke up early to eat breakfast together. When we arrived to the “Breakfast Room” we were shocked that there were no breakfast items. We immediately went to reception to inquire & were very rudely told “Oh, we don’t do breakfast anymore.” We always choose Marriott for our vacation getaways but I’m sad to say that we would never choose a Townplace Suites again.

Website is not accurate. Pool is closed. Breakfast stopped in December 2025. Easy drive to Boulder. Rooms are okay but hotel is somewhat run down. Maintenance man is really nice and fixed my falling shower head. Beds are comfortable, although sheets are stained.

lots of shopping nearby. within walking distance, there's Walmart Supercenter, cannabis dispensary (Callie's), a lot of restaurants, and even a mall. lovely quiet area, lots of greenery. staff are lovely. however this place sucks!! the rooms feel old and worn out, with a funny smell. i haven't used the laundry machines yet, but i saw that there are several out of order. big thing, they no longer offer breakfast. nevermind i paid the rate for breakfast included online. the hotel info sheet in the room still had the breakfast hours on it too. i came for work and was there like a week, so this was very annoying! air con-heater unit in my room was broken too. it could be used as air con only. the buttons didn't respond, so the setting couldn't be changed. the power button was broken too! I had to unplug the machine to turn it off.. and i know the settings are supposed to be adjustable, my coworkers stayed here too. i was able to open one window after a bit of a struggle. then it was impossible to close, even tho i was using all my bodyweight. at least it should be hard for intruders to open from outside? like i said, the dispensary is not that far. thank god!!!

This is by far the worst hotel i have ever stayed in my life. The building smells so bad. The paintings on the wall are all falling off. My room has no hot water! They had to switch me to a different room. Then that room’s shower is flooded. Its just a nightmare there.

I am so disappointed. I arrived on a Saturday and it’s Tuesday now and yet to get room service. Website says it will service every two days. There whole entire website needs to be updated. No breakfast , cold coffee and no pots and pans in my room. I look for rooms with the kitchen so I don’t have to go out to eat every day. I have several trips out here to Denver for work so I have to find a better place. I’m not one to complain however, I just wanted to keep others informed about what I have seen so far. I even asked on the second day for some pots and pans and have not received any. You would think they would want to keep their customers happy. I shouldn’t have to ask twice for service.

One of the reasons I booked this location is because it included breakfast. However, when I was checking in, I was notified breakfast is no longer included. The email I received prior to my check in even said hot breakfast was included. This was a clear bait and switch move by this hotel and makes me question all Marriott properties moving forward. Additionally, there was no additional bedding in the room for the sofa pullout bed. The water temperature in the shower varied and constantly had to be adjusted. The neighboring room had music on so loud that I had to bang on their door so hard I injured my hand. I did call the front desk about it, but the music continued.

Location was a great spot! Room was a bit dirty. Found a old sock in the ck9wet and the kitchen cabinets had crumbs from the toaster. Had no house keeping during our stay but that's okay. Breakfast was basically bur good enough. Overall stay was good. Would come back again.

Worst Marriott stay I think I've ever had. Unfortunately just old and dirty everywhere. The elevator barely seems to work. The carpets are old and gross. The baseboards are broken. The toilets are made for infants. There are a few other Marriott options nearby that I'd recommend staying at instead if you are around.

Really bad management! Advertises free hot breakfast and they barely coffee. On Christmas day they served hot breakfast since everyone complained and then they said that no more breakfast would be served for the rest of the week since they served on that day and the owner had gone on vacation and left nothing prepared for the guests, so much for planning. Also, towels were dirty, there is no central heat, sofa was dirty and there was no room service whatsoever. I was very disappointed since I switched hotels last minute thinking this being a Marriott would be better. Location is very convenient though and the two guys at reception were very friendly. If location is important then good but if you can stretch budget a bit more stay at the Homewoods ?

The place is a dump. Entire hotel needs to be upgraded inside and out. Dirty, worn out, and outdated. Staff is indifferent and clueless as to customer service. Advertised that room housekeeping service was every other day. And free breakfast. Upon checking in was told housekeeping was only every 6 days as they only have a single housekeeper. And no breakfast because lady who does breakfast is not available. When asked about getting fresher coffee at front deck night auditor said she was busy. She was playing Xbox at the time Checked out after 1 night and moved next door to Residence Inn. Same price and 20 times better. Not up to Marriott standards. Not sure how they keep Marriott branding. Avoid this place like the plague.
