Good rates. Good shower. AC excellent. Bed comfortable. Excellent room lights. Helpful front desk. Continental breakfast very limited.
I had a very bad experience at Super 8 by Wyndham Wheat Ridge/Denver West. I was charged extra money that I was not expecting, and when I tried to ask for an explanation, the customer service was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of calmly explaining the charges and helping resolve the issue, the staff made me feel disrespected as a paying customer. Customers deserve clear information about what they are being charged and should be treated with basic courtesy when they have questions. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience. Management seriously needs to improve its customer service, communication, and transparency regarding additional charges.
Had a very enjoyable relaxing stay. Filter on the air conditioning was extremely dirty and was not taken care of by room maintenance for some time effecting the air quality. But being a smoker going outside periodically kept me sane.
This place is a joke. The Chinese Asian dude at the front desk is running a scam. So be warned First of all. They charged me a $120 deposit, and then the next day said it was only a 100 when I got to my room. There was only one towel. And when I checked out, I told him all this, and he said that I was lying. And he took 50 bucks. Out of the the deposit four wash wrags that I never got he also tried to charge me twice. For a pet deposit saying that when I got there there wasn't a pet deposit which I clearly paid for one and I got the receipt upon all that, their continental breakfast is a joke. In which, when I went down in the morning to get me and my girlfriend breakfast. He told me that there was no food Allowed in the room, and he sat there and watched me like i was stealing or something. Telling me that I had to eat it there when I said okay. And I 'm not going to do that. And put the food back, he said, it was okay for me to take the food back to the room I payed for rely rud like so he strate robbed me of 75 dollars o also when we got to our room and the TV didn't work he also called me a lier and when I confronted him about all this he got mad and yelled at me telling me to get out and that he is going to call the cops and that I was trespassing so we left but after realizing that he is scamming people I did some research having stayed there a week earlyer I used my credit card to pay that time and after looking at the receipt and doing alot of diging he rob me of 75 bucks as well charging me for towls that I never got and a pet deposit twice so for a room there for two days that should of cost me like$ 220 ended up causing me. $ 500 so he robbed me of $300 and that makes me wonder how often he be doing this to people that is not ok but he gets away with it because he is good at scaring people and doing slight of had stuff so please if you have had a similar experience please speak out and write a review this is not OK and he needs to be stopped plus I think he might have a camera behind the bathroom mirror but I am not 100 percent on that .either way he is a crook and if you want to get robbed I i highly recommend this place. If you're looking for a decent place to stay the night. That is affordable. This is not I will be posting this on a couple. Other sites because I'm sure he will take it down as soon as he figures out. How to? But, uh, yeah, my uncle, just so happens to be a lawyer, and I have the proof that he was stealing from me. So I'm going to show him and tell him my story. And I guess we'll see what comes of it .
Melody took care of us tonight and did everything in her power to take care of us and we greatly appreciate it! Amazing customer service! She was friendly and very helpful:) Alicia took care of us the next morning and was also very amazing! Great customer service! :)
I was treated like Royalty by Mary Sanchez, she was very professional when she checked me in and I felt very welcomed and I felt very comfortable as she prepared my paperwork and assigned me my room. I would like to extend my thanks to Super 8 also extend my thanks to Mary Sanchez! Sincerely Yours, Clifford Lee Thomas Jr
overpriced for a very rundown place that is in desperate need of a major update. carpet throughout was horrifically stained with filth age, room we stayed in was such a mix of furniture and decor that looked like it had been picked up at a yard sale or vintage dumpster, floors were sticky and soft, no shower curtain and honestly didn't feel very safe. location included homeless people in parking lot and exterior doors that did not properly lock.
The absolute most unsanitary “hotel” I have ever stayed in. During our entire stay, we never once saw a housekeeper. We were forced to take our own trash out all week and repeatedly go to the front desk just to get clean towels. The shower was disgusting and still had other guests’ hair in it, which is completely unacceptable. The walls were peeling throughout the room, showing a severe lack of maintenance and cleanliness. This property clearly does not meet even the most basic standards of sanitation or hospitality. The only positive thing I can say is that the bed was soft—but that does not come close to making up for the overall experience.
Terrible experience. We were given a room where the toilet would not flush at all. We reported the issue that same night. Since maintenance was not available, a staff member came to look at it and told us to “just flush, hold, and wait.” The toilet never worked, no matter how many times we tried, all night and again the next morning. It is extremely uncomfortable and stressful to try to have a normal morning when you cannot even flush a toilet in your room. The next morning, I went to the front desk and asked if I could temporarily use the general bathroom, since our room’s toilet was completely unusable. The front desk attendant at that time, Shauna (not sure of the exact spelling), refused and said it was “policy,” even after I clearly explained that this was an emergency caused by a defective toilet in the room they assigned us. There was no empathy and no willingness to help. When I asked for someone to fix the issue, I was told maintenance was still not available, and no alternative solution was offered. Only after insisting did they offer to change our room. When I returned with the key, I was strangely asked if we were extending our stay, which we absolutely were not. The new room we were given was unacceptable, the bed was not even made. I am not satisfied at all with this experience. I am also genuinely concerned about being charged or blamed for toilet issues that were clearly present when we arrived. The lack of accountability, care, and basic hospitality is extremely disappointing. From my perspective, the way this situation was handled feels unethical and far from acceptable standards. This place is disorganized, sketchy, and lacks even the most basic level of customer service. When there is a serious problem, the staff is not willing to help or take responsibility. I strongly recommend not staying here.
We came down here for a funeral and stayed at this hotel because it was close to the cemetery. They did accommodate me and put us on a ground floor due to my handicap. But that is where it ended. The room was ok. It smelled really musky when we first went in. When we asked for a shower chair they said I could not have one as that was only in the handicap rooms and they could only give me a wooden chair from the dining room that maybe that could work. I declined. They also have no elevators so there is little to no accessibly in this place. Don’t trust pictures of the breakfast either it was just muffins and dry cereal. Overall not a great experience.
