This Quality Inn location receives mixed reviews, with some highlighting positive interactions with staff and a convenient location. However, frequent complaints center around issues with cleanliness, lack of housekeeping, and unresponsive staff, particularly regarding basic requests and limited service. There are also concerns about outdated amenities and a less-than-stellar breakfast experience.
I do not recommend this place because I stayed there and extended my room. Each time I extended it, they charged me a $77.25 deposit. They charged me three times, totaling $231.75. The worst part is that, like any hotel, they should refund that money, but they never returned anything to me. They stole $231.75 in deposits. I called my bank to see if it was their mistake, and they told me there was nothing wrong. In the end, they stole my money.
Ever been to a Waffle House at 3:00am? Well that’s the vibe. Are the beds clean and comfortable? Yes I went, I slept , I left = ???????? It’s cool if you’re going alone for a few days and you’re not high maintenance. "I'm gonna give you a 4. That way, it gives you something to work towards". - Hank Hill
It's a place to sleep. There might have been a workout room but it was "under construction" so that amenity is out. Lobby walls are being stripped for renovation (?) no one working on them all week so who knows. The exhaust fan in our bathroom was broken. The room itself was clean and the sheets and pillows were very comfortable. But when I asked for an extra blanket at the desk, the front attendant seemed perplexed...and dug out a thin cheap top-cover thing they use to cover the comforter. She said "Sorry, this is all we have." I was expecting at least a cheap fleece coverlet, or something more, I don't know, blanket-like. What hotel doesn't have blankets? Breakfast was from 7-11 but by 7:30 or 8 every morning stuff had run out and they weren't keeping up on it very well. The selection was fair enough. Good luck finding an employee to help out. Saying this, I would like to make one thing clear: I don't think it's the employees' fault. I think more and more corporations are saving their bottom line by hiring as few people as possible. I think the staff is overworked and doing their best to keep up and likely not getting paid enough to hustle harder. I don't blame the staff. Do better, Choice Hotels International. This is in Boulder, a higher income area. What's your deal?
I've spent approximately a lifetime of nights in various lodging situations across the last six months. Significantly more than the rest of my life combined and possibly the rest of it moving forward. Let me just say that for me these places smudge and smear into one dreary image devoid of any longterm memories. In other words these places have been quite run of the mill, as expected and just plain easy to forget. The Quality Inn Louisville - Boulder has managed to pull its head above the likes of its peers and competitors in the daynting array of hotels that is the Louisville - Longmont corridor to a degree that is worthy of exclaiming (in my exhaustive and probably tedious to read methodology). Certainly a part of that rating is the proximity to one of my favorite towns I've come across to this point in Louisville, CO. But the extra oomph comes from the effort and attitude of all the staff I have interacted with here. In particular I want to mention Rori (y?) for her welcoming demeanor and overall hospitality. Each interaction I had with her was not only 10x simpler than those had with staff at other lodging options, but she was also just plain kind. Unless you want to do some hands on research you'll just have to trust me when I say that for the same price (or less) of its peers located down the block you can stay at the Comfort Inn with peace and quiet and a dedicated staff. YMMV with noise, but my recent stays in other Louisville spots were more akin to a hostel with a Phish concert happening both inside and outside of the lodging. Whereas I've experienced no such issues at the Comfort Inn. Thanks to the team and Rory (i?)!
Beware - Dog friendly = multiple barking dogs, rooms that set off allergies because they can't be cleaned enough after a pet has been there. No elevator, so carry your suitcase up a long flight of stairs. Low shower head = duck to wash your hair. Old worn out furniture. Breakfast had several items empty while we could hear the staff yucking it up in the office.
This is not just a bad hotel — it’s a disgrace to the entire Quality Inn brand. I stayed here for five nights, and it was nothing short of miserable. • No housekeeping AT ALL — not even once, despite repeated requests every single day. The excuse? “I’m the only person here, I can’t help you.” That’s not an excuse, that’s negligence. • Filthy rooms and smelly mattresses right from the moment we checked in. • No elevator and zero staff support to help with luggage, even though we were clearly struggling with multiple bags. • Breakfast was an absolute disgrace. They didn’t even have basic milk - Jason was shockingly rude and absolutely unwilling to help. From the moment I approached him, his tone was dismissive and condescending, as if assisting guests was beneath him. I’ve never encountered someone in a service role who seemed so uninterested in doing their job. He made no effort to answer questions, offered zero guidance, and behaved as though we were bothering him just by asking for help. People like Jason give an entire establishment a bad name — unprofessional, arrogant, and completely unfit for hospitality. I have traveled to more than 20 countries, stayed in hundreds of hotels, and this is hands-down the worst hospitality I have ever experienced. If I could give zero stars, I would. Do yourself a favor — don’t ever book this place. It’s disgusting, disrespectful, and a total waste of money.
