This Holiday Inn Express & Suites location in Thornton offers a generally positive experience, highlighted by cleanliness and a convenient location near the highway and a Tesla charging station. However, recent reviews indicate some issues with room layout, cleanliness, and staff attentiveness, alongside concerns about noise and a limited breakfast selection.
Probably the best place to stay in that area. Area a little rough, but hotel was great. We got one of the 3 queen rooms with pull out. Perfect for the 4 of us.
Stayed here for a stop before going snowboarding in eldora. Close to a tesla charging station so that was convenient. The room was clean and had a nice little view of the mountains. Overall positive experience
This place was okay, but I guess I was expecting a little better for $171/nt. The bed was as hard as a rock, and thankfully there was a sleeper couch with a halfways decent mattress, or else I probably would have been up all night. My room had a view of the dumpster that was attended to by a noisy garbage truck banging this and that (once more, I was paying a higher rate than the average, but did I get the room that nobody wanted?). The elevator was so slow, and the fitness room was small and void of any upper body strength training equipment. Lastly, while the breakfast was good, it was bothersome to see that each slice of bread and pastry was wrapped up in plastic. We already have plastic everywhere as it is. This seemed like overkill with creating unnecessary waste.
Beautiful, clean and right off the highway. Great breakfast spread! And our welcoming hotel hostess was very sweet and accommodating. In fact her name was Precious and she was!
Breakfast was good but very limited seating area. A kitchen staff had a bit of an attitude towards clients, front desk was notified but all I was told was sorry ma'am and I seen her later go up to the disgruntled kitchen staff person (interesting she knew which one) and was laughing and talking to her as she pointed to me, not professional whatsoever. Not planning on returning because of that.
Overall a good stay. Rooms were clean , spacious, and housekeeping daily. Hot breakfast served daily. Pool and spa was clean. Only issue is the door to our room seemed heavy to open and would slam close.
Our room was arranged very weird. The closet and safe were right next to the bed, you couldn't even open the door all the way. The bathroom walls were dirty. There was loud music playing all night long. The pool was ok, but our experience with the pool was horrible. There were non guests there swimming and eating in the pool, yes, the kids were eating their pizza in the pool. There was roughly about 10 kids there. The adults had the door propped open so that they could come and go. Hotel staff were too busy with their personal things they either didn't notice or didn't care. Front desk lady had what appeared to be her baby with her. I do not recommend this place if you are looking for a place to get a good night's rest. Unless you sleep with ear plugs. This location is also not like other IHG locations, not a huge selection for gluten free for breakfast.
Comfortable bed and clean room with lovely staff which made my extra night in Denver very peaceful and comfortable. I could hear some noise from the room next to mine (TV) but overall unbothered as I slept great. Breakfast was ok and a little disappointed I couldn't use the pool before leaving for my flight as it was being checked, but understandable! Overall i would recommend staying here!
