The Hampton Inn Denver-Northwest/Westminster has received largely negative reviews, citing significant maintenance issues, poor service, and unresolved problems. While some guests appreciated the location and friendly staff at check-in, a substantial number encountered issues ranging from non-functional amenities like the hot tub and Wi-Fi, to cleanliness concerns and equipment malfunctions. Overall, the property’s current state falls far short of Hilton’s standards.

The establishment is a little dated, but the rooms were clean. The hot tub was non-functional and the elevator was struggling some. Gym was small but glad to have one. Easy access to all the places I needed to go. Good dining options close by. And lastly, I was pleased that the rooms were fairly good at keeping the road noise down.

This is not a typical Hampton (or Hilton) experience. This Hampton is dark and not clean. I would go into details with the pictures I took but I see the rest of the Google reviews for this property are a good summary. I encourage folks to find better lodging until this property meets Hampton/Hilton standards. No response from owner required. I also filed a case with Hilton.

Feedback Regarding Recent Stay: Safety and Quality Concerns Dear Management Team, I am writing to bring several urgent quality and safety concerns to your attention regarding my recent stay. Historically, my experiences with Hilton and Hampton Inn properties have been excellent, but this specific location fell significantly short of those established brand standards. The property exhibits considerable wear and tear, with noticeable damage to the hallway wallpaper, corner paint, and elevator entries. More concerning, however, were several prominent safety hazards: Dining Area: The newly replaced chairs are extremely lightweight, unstable, and rock back and forth, creating a dangerous seating environment. Guest Room: The metal bed frame extends past the mattress, presenting a severe shin-scraping hazard. I struck my leg against it during my stay, which nearly broke the skin. Additionally, the in-room AC unit was excessively loud and emitted a foul odor, one of the bed headboard featured a partially torn wall decal, and the bathroom wallpaper and corner trim had loose gaps. The sink and tub faucets felt flimsy and plastic, and the drain was slow. Front Entrance: The luggage carts provided at the front entrance were damaged and in such poor condition that they were embarrassing to use. Overall, the experience lacked the premium, reliable feel expected of a Hilton-family property. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to address these maintenance and safety issues immediately.

Kind staff upon check-in (male). Horrible staff after (night female). We travel. We have very well-mannered children. We received 2 noise complaints within the first 10 minutes just trying to get settled in our room. (Drawers closing etc. No kids jumping on beds. Just us trying to get situated) After 2 noise complaints (before 10pm) we got one after shift change (just after 10 pm) Tia or whoever called and was EXTREMELY RUDE. I was kind on the phone. She hung up on me. Then within 10 minutes after her phone call we were leaving the hotel. I tried to explain our situation and she said “ Y’all can leave…” Wouldn’t look me in the eye. Horrible customer service. This might sound like we have loud children but we really didn’t. We were just trying to move our things into a hotel room that cost us over $150/night just for a one bed w/ couch. Zero cause to treat us like trash. P.S.- Their pool was down earlier than specified hours and dirty. Hot tub with no water. Gross floors/carpet all around the hotel. We have had better/lesser expensive hotels in Loveland with a kitchenette and kind staff. (More expensive part of CO) I’d be happier in a motel. Nicer staff. Cleaner hotel and pool. With a hot tub… same since room or bigger. Don’t waste your money here. Horrible, horrible experience. I’ll update tomorrow. The next questions ask “ How would you describe the hotel?” Only options are, “Luxury , Great View, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-Friendly, Great-Value, High-Tech” Where is the “Absolutely NON-OF-THE-ABOVE” options? Worst hotel experience of my life.

This is the WORST experience I have ever had at a Hilton. The service is atrocious and the staff act like they would rather be anywhere else. The breakfast is gross and re-heated food for the 3 days we were there, the yoghurt was frozen solid. Want water or juice with your "free breakfast"? That will cost you 2 bucks each. 2 towels provided for a room that sleeps 4 people and you can't get an extra towel because "they are short on towels". No extra toilet paper when you run out because they had only a half roll in the bathroom. No room cleaning every other day as promised. Phone in the room does not work. No TV remote in the room. Shampoo and shower gel dispensers in shower are empty. No handsoap at the sink. The toilet flooded and we were told "maintenance is off site until Monday so we can just give you a plunger and you can take care of it yourself". Gross rooms, terrible service. The pool was filthy and the hot tub was drained. Dirty, nasty tiles in the whole pool area. While the manager was very nice and tried to salvage the situation, we were so exhausted after 3 days that we left 2 days early. Do yourself a favor and stay someplace else.

Not good, but not bad. Wet spot on the floor next to the bed when I got there, I thought something spilled. I put a towel on it to sop it up, then went to dinner. Came back and forgot about it until I woke up at midnight to use the facilities. I went to turn the light off that was on that because table right in from of the wet spot, and it had turned into a puddle. The towel has turned orange and brown... It was a busted sewage line leaking into my room. Tae Hawkins at the front desk was very nice, helpful, and apologetic. She immediately got me into a new room, no issues. Tae Hawkins deserves a raise and promotion for well she helped me out and took care of me. I know it's not their fault for the issue, but it was still a major inconvenience.

Hotel needs updated. The room I reserved was sold out so had to settle for what they had available. Would have preferred to move to the Double Tree next door but wasn't offered. Breakfast options were minimal compared to the standard Hampton Inn options. Great location! Friendly staff.

I will not stay here again Hair in the shower in multiple places. Conditioner bottle mounted in the shower was empty. Some outlets did not work. Not all the TV stations worked. Nothing in the gym worked: treadmill broken, peloton bike did not work, and the elliptical squeled loud. I asked the desk person when I left in the morning to please have housekeeping replace conditioner in bathroom while I was gone for the day. It never happened. This is not a place I will stay at in the future for my business trips here.

The hotel itself was very nice. The staff was friendly and the room was spacious and clean. My only issue was the TV service. The picture kept cutting out making it very annoying to try and watch anything. I finally found a channel that stayed on just so I could have something to watch, even though I was not interested in the show. Overall though, my stay there was nice and I would stay there again.

I recently completed an lenghty stay at this property and, unfortunately, encountered a number of issues that made the experience quite disappointing. Toilet: The flapper was worn out, and the toilet ran continuously and noisily for nearly my entire stay. I reported this to the front desk and received no response. I followed up by text to the customer service text the next day and was again ignored. Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi never worked during my entire stay. I attempted to connect multiple times using my phone, computer, and tablet but was never able to establish a connection. This forced me to cancel planned Zoom calls. Room Assignment and Key: I requested a first-floor room due to transporting a 300-lb trunk but was assigned to the third floor. The digital key failed to work for 8 of my 11 days, as the front-desk attendant (who was notably unhelpful) had predicted. Compounding the issue, the elevator was out of service one day. Facilities and Maintenance: The hot tub was broken. Several bulbs in the common areas were burned out and never replaced. The bathroom nightlight did not work. Two of the three shower amenities were empty. The door sweep on my room was bent and detached. The flooring was so flimsy that each step caused the refrigerator and microwave to rattle, and one night the refrigerator became so loud that it woke me—even through noise-canceling headphones. I have stayed at many Hampton Inns and have always had positive experiences. This property, however, appears to suffer from serious lapses in maintenance and customer service. It would benefit greatly from stronger management attention to detail.
