Recent reviews highlight both positive aspects like affordability, cleanliness, and friendly staff, alongside significant concerns regarding bed bugs and poor customer service. While some renovations and a convenient location are noted, the overall experience appears inconsistent, with recent negative feedback casting doubt on the hotel's suitability for vacations.
This hotel has bed bugs. Be careful. Additionally, when it was reported right away this past weekend, their hotel staff did not take initiative or the matter seriously and responded with “it’s my second day at work” and “it’s the weekend and management is not working”. Terrible customer service. Still have yet to conduct a refund.
Affordable clean and quiet room with the most reasonable pet fee I was able to find. Everyone working there was very friendly and accommodating. I would especially like to thank Nikki for being super helpful and understanding. Next time I need a place to stay in the Denver metro this will be my first choice.
Been here for a little bit and it’s been amazing. The rooms are nice and clean, WiFi works amazing, all the employees are very kind. Tonight exceeded everything I could have expected. I accidentally put my key card next to my phone in which it stopped working so I walked to the front lobby to get it fixed. When I walked in there was a lady just screaming and berating the kind lady at the desk, cussing her out about nonsense. The lady at the front desk kept a calm and respectful demeanor, the whole entire time while dealing with this lady. Well, the lady had stepped away. I had asked for help with my key and she was more than happy to help me and didn’t show any signs of what happened. I believe she said her name was Nikki. But all around, I would say this would be an amazing place to stay.
Forced to stay in motel because Xcel turned off the power in our mountain neighborhood to minimize its liability for damage caused by its mid-20th century infrastructure. Staff was great and they love having your dog or cat stay with you. Rooms renovated and refreshed. I’ve stayed in many so called three star hotels but this has to be the overall best total experience.
The staff (except one) were super lovely and very helpful. Victoria the manager went above and beyond to try and make our stay better but we did end up having to leave. If you are looking to stay for a vacation - do not stay here, go elsewhere. This is not a hotel for vacations, it is used for other purposes. I’m going to leave it there as the staff are so nice and it’s not their fault. But honestly, if you are looking for a vacation hotel - please do not stay here.
I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms. From the outside the building looks old and a little bit outdated but once inside the room, everything from the beds to the decor was very clean and modern. Felt very safe as during the night time hours they have a security guard who walks the grounds every hour, he is also very friendly and always had a smile. The gal who worked the lobby on the overnight shift was also extremely friendly and very helpful when I needed some items last minute very late at night. The location is extremely convenient literally right off of I 25 , which is amazing when your traveling and get tired, surrounding resteraunts and walmart were all within a 5minute drive feom the hotel, and the price was unbeatable! 2 nights stay for $168 on a weekend! Definitely reccomend!
The room was disgusting. There was a massive hairball in the drain of the shower that stopped the water, so I did not take the shower I was looking forward to. Also, as a vacation home cleaner myself, makes me wonder if the shower was even cleaned. There are visible concerning stains on the box springs that are showing, the floors felt sticky under my feet, the hotel clearly needs some renovation as there are cracks in the walls/doorways, and overall not a great experience. Definitely not worth the price of the room and I would find a different place to stay if I were you.
