This La Quinta Inn & Suites property presents a mixed experience with some positive feedback on affordability and service, but is plagued by significant operational issues including water outages, malfunctioning amenities, and cleanliness concerns. Recent reviews highlight a decline in condition and responsiveness from management.

I stayed here this week in a 2 bed(upstairs) room. This hotel was burned up a few years ago, so it's relatively newly rebuilt and has a fresh and clean feel to it. Its a quiet area and not much commotion (at all) upstairs during my stay. Some people have dogs here though, but I guess it is mostly downstairs. Very clean, very tidy. Room was cleaned with intention. I smiled when I opened the door to the room. Bon was the most friendly clerk and took care to give a good experience. I booked with a 3rd party and got a great deal, although I'm sure the regular rate is worth it. Out of dozens of hotel stays, this was the best bang for $. One of the two elevators is out of order and so was the dryer on the 3rd floor. But the clerk will give a complimentary dry until it's fixed. I'm sure they will fix that soon. It still felt like a luxury stay for the price of a cheap hotel. Thanks for the good service and housekeeping doing a wonderful job. 5 stars!

If I could give this place no stars I would. It started off at check in. I handed the young lady a credit card for my stay and explained that it was a different card from what I booked with. The next day I see that she charged the original card I booked with. I went to the front desk and explained the situation. I was assured that they would refund the first card and charge the second one. I also explained that they had charged me for parking and I didn't even have a car. The young lady at the desk stated that she would refund that as well. They ended up charging both cards for the 5 night stay. I had to call my credit card company to get that straightened out. Then I see the room for the first time. Initial impression is that it was satisfactory. I then open the mini fridge to find it is filled with dirt and had hair frozen to the inside of the mini fridge. Pictures attached. Then the last two days I was there they shut off the water during the day so if I did not get up early enough I would not be able to shower and you weren't able to flush the toliets while the water was off. I would definitely find another place to stay. Even though the ladies at the front desk were very nice and all of the people I spoke to that worked there were very nice they on numerous accounts told me that someone would come and clean the mini fridge but Noone ever did. Sad part is they did come into the room one day while I was out and put in new fresh towels and made the bed but yet never cleaned the hair out of the mini fridge. Just be cautious is all I can say. I had a horrible experience and will not ever make this mistake again.

Water was totally off when I arrived at my room. When it finally came back on, it was dark brown (see photo). The water never got hot, although the brown color diluted a bit with time (after 20 minutes). I was then informed by letter that the water would be off the entire next day. When I asked for a refund (I need to shower and use the washroom), I was denied. They let several people check in after me, which was outrageous. I was told a manager would contact me, but that never happened. There is a reason this place is so much cheaper than any surrounding properties...avoid it at all costs.

I am really disappointed with my stay. I check-in. I asked the front desk lady, Is there another entrance into the hotel? So I don't have to walk through the lobby with my dog. She said, no, just the lobby. I later found there is a side door so I get to the 2nd floor which is my floor it smells like dog pee and I get it, I have a dog. But if my dog is gonna pee on the floor I'm gonna clean it up. Immediately, and they don't do that here, housekeeping doesn't come clean the floors it's needs to be shampoo then when I went to go do laundry on the 3rd floor that's even worse, the door doesn't shut. The dryer is broken and it smells. It reminds me, run down motel 6. Those 2 floors like come on. This place is not worth it. It's not worth the deposit. It's not worth the location. I thought this was a good area. A good safe area, boy was I wrong? There was homeless people, walking around last night going into lobby.

I was really disappointed with my stay. Other than the location of the hotel everything was horrible. First day couldn’t even access my room due to the key card not working at all for some odd reason and had to switch between 3 rooms which wasted almost 2 hours. Rooms weren’t up to date and it would take almost 4-5 days to get something fixed in the room and I would never be provided with any type of updates on the work orders. Key cards would randomly stop working. Almost everyday I stayed here something was wrong and it was really frustrating to deal with this. Not to mention the dryers were not fixed for almost 2 weeks. The manager Jessica wasn’t really helpful at all and was very impolite. The only person here that was helpful to me was Bond who went out of his way to try to make experience here somewhat bearable. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay at this location as my experience was really horrible as well as the service was horrible.

Giving 5 stars for affordable rate, great service at front desk and friendly staff at breakfast, and clean room, and location. Definitely stay here again when visiting Boulder. It took me 15 minutes to where I needed to be. I was happy to find this place. I would pay more for a bunk bed in a shared room & bathroom in Boulder!!

I stayed at the La Quinta in Louisville, CO and discovered what looked like dirty or needle-like marks on the toilet paper in my bathroom. I immediately reported it to management and even called the police to have it checked. The officers said it wasn’t criminal without actual paraphernalia, but it was still a very alarming and unsanitary situation — especially with my child there, who was scared and upset. Management offered a 50% refund for the second night but not for the first, even though the issue made it hard to feel comfortable staying. I appreciate that staff responded, but this kind of issue should trigger a full inspection and guest notification. Hopefully corporate reviews this carefully to prevent it from happening again.

Stayed here Mon-Fri last week. This hotel is tired. It looks like it was remodeled about 10 years ago and the owners are trying to maximize their return now. Lots of wear and tear showing nearly everywhere. Breakfast was basic and seems like the cheapest options available, like everyone sharing a gallon of milk instead of individual cartons. The powdered eggs and cold turkey sausage was gross. Bed was fine, but the bathroom could use a deep clean. I will avoid this place in the future. Next time I'll spend a few dollars more per night and stay nearby.

Room was clean and comfortable, but amenities that are listed (and that I filtered for) are lacking. The pool is emptied of water, the hot tub is filled in. While the exercise room has a variety of things, half the machines were broken and there was no way to clean equipment after use. Overall, would stay again, but would expect a lower price in line with the hotels in the area that don’t have a pool/hot tub
