Terrible customer service. My family visited on March 7 and everything seemed fine until staff started treating us poorly. They asked for my wife ID after we had already been playing for two hours, which made no sense. Later, while waiting for our bus back to Aurora (which was delayed), I briefly closed my eyes because i was tired. A staff member came over and forced us to wait outside in the freezing cold just because I “fell asleep,” even though the bus was only about 20 minutes away. Kicking customers out into the cold for that reason is extremely rude and unacceptable. I have never experienced treatment like this before. I will not be coming back.

If you want the worst customer service and to be treated badly, go ahead and play at this casino. My family and I visited on March 7 around 8:00 PM. We started playing right away, and my husband and father ordered drinks. Everything seemed fine at first. About two hours later, a server suddenly came and asked me for my ID. I showed it, but my question is: why not check IDs before letting people play instead of after they’ve already been there for two hours? Around 1:00 AM we were done playing and were waiting for the bus back to Aurora. The bus that was supposed to come every hour was delayed until 2:20 AM, so we had to wait inside the casino. My mom and I played a few more games and then sat in the waiting area. My husband was very tired and briefly closed his eyes. A staff member came over and told us we had to wait for the bus outside because my husband was “sleeping.” We explained that the bus would arrive in about 20 minutes and asked if we could just sit there without sleeping, but he refused and told us to leave. It was freezing outside, yet we were forced to wait there just because my husband closed his eyes for a moment. I’ve never experienced such rude and inhumane treatment before.

Adding to post-They overcharged me and will not refund a $55 charge on top of the $455 for 2 nights, which come to find out was more expensive than Monarch. Room was left in condition we received it not to mention they had no hot water for the two showers I attempted to take. Rude old lady at the front acted like it wasn’t a big deal that water wasn’t hot. Pathetic customer service! Your hotel staff should be ashamed of themselves. KEEP DRIVING, DON’T STAY HERE! Worst casino hotel I have ever stayed in. It is out of the way of all the happening and has zero amenities. Not only was the hotel old and run down, we could hear the room next to us like they were in our room. They had a baby that screamed all night which kept us up all night. God awful place to stay! Never ever again!

We have stayed at the Z a few times the first time very nice room everything was great . Second time the room was next to the elevator you hear everything elevator going up and down people getting off the elevator and being loud. So we decided to try again. Again they put us by the elevator well when we got in from spending money in the casino we thought take a nice shower and rest the shower was leaking from the neck area shooting out wetting the whole sink area. Then the toliet would not flush very frustrating. When I went down to check out the next morning the staff did not even ask how our stay was so I let the girl know about the shower and toilet all she said was "Oh ok I will put a note ". She really didn't care .. We will be looking for somewhere else to stay i feel .

Nice place to gamble, but if you are going to spend a couple hundred dollar and only get one drink every 30 mins it's not worth it. Sometimes you tip the bartenders 5$ and you can only have one drink every 30 minutes. Customer service is awesome I've been a member for three years now. Rooms are clean, very accommodating and nice location as to the parking area too.

We were traveling for a wedding. All the elevators but one are shut down. The one from the parking garage is down and they put a paper saying to call for help. We called to request help due to me being on crutches and was told to take the stairs. We got to our room which is very outdated. Comfy beds but needs a good clean. The dresser drawers are covered in white unknown stuff and dirt There’s no microwave in the room and when we called the front desk to ask if they had a way to heat left over food up and popcorn they said no they don’t have microwaves and no way to heat the food up and they dropped they call on their side. The heater and ac either freeze you out or cook you dry. No in between.

I always had a pleasant stay at Grand Z. Rooms are clean, linens are clean beds are very very comfortable. Good machines a variety to choose from. The only issue ive had recently, is getting my incidentals of $150 back. Crazy how it wasn't our fault for the refund being returned. It's a hassle but should be worked out soon. I would like to see this hotel allow children in the hotel rooms. That's kept us from staying here many times

A very nice time at this Hotel. The service was very good. It was still easy to walk up to the bar and get drinks in between games we were playing. The rooms are clean and comfortable. View of the surrounding neighborhood was beautiful. It is located very close to the Main Street and great restaurants. Highly Recommended!

While on a cross country road trip in September 2024 we spent a night at the Grand Z hotel. We drove from Grand Junction, took in several tourist spots before arriving at the hotel around 8 pm. Having never been in the area, we were surprised at the lack of restaurants open in the area so we ended up eating at a snack type area in the casino. The food was ok, but nothing exciting. The room we had was clean and comfortable, but slightly dated. It filled our needs for a place to rest before continuing on the road to Rocky Mountain National Park. The employees we dealt with were friendly. Parking garage area was okay. While not somewhere I would have to return to, it served our purpose.

I used to love this place, but their level services but their level of service gone way down. You can't order a drink or even a bottle of water while seated at a slot machine or a table, or while watching a game. They have two bars, and only one bartender. They have zero wait staff on the floor. My wife played the slot machines for 12 hours straight. Seldom did anyone offer her a drink or ask if she needed anything. When we wanted we couldn't find anyone to provide them for us. This level of service is unheard of in a casino. The air conditioning in the room did not work.
