This Extended Stay America location in Westminster is praised for its exceptional and friendly staff, notably Angie, Kayla, Nancy, Roy, and Tom, who provide attentive service and go above and beyond for guests. While mostly positive experiences highlight the welcoming atmosphere and convenient location, a recent negative review indicates potential issues with residency rights and handling of long-term reservations.
A bit too pricey but comfortable, staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help with anything. Suburban extended right across from them is 1600 for 30 days steady rates . And here it's more than 2100 for 30 days. Plus rates change every day/ week. It's something corporate has to change because the staff here have their hands tied and can't do much.
I had a fabulous stay due to the very genial staff, excellent rooms with many amenities, the fact that it is very pet friendly, and located closely to hiking in the Big Dry Creek open space.
At the get go Angie was amazing. She swooped in and took very good care of me and my family. Kayla was just as good to us. Rooms were decent enough and comfortable.
Very clean! The staff is kind and very helpful with any questions I had regarding my stay. I love that it’s pet friendly and has a complimentary breakfast. Would 100% stay here again.
The service is amazing. Angie remembered us and treats us amazing and even gsve us a mountain view room. We will be coming back here way more often
Nancy, Roy, Tom, Kayla, and Angie and all the staff here are amazing. They really make staying here feel like home. Thank you all for being amazing! And it's way better than the ESA Aurora location please never stay there it's awful but Westminster location is phenomenal.
I have stayed at several Extended Stays over the years and this location stands above the rest. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and most helpful. All of my requests (fresh lisnens, key card, light bulb) were met with swift service. The location is convenient and the grounds are kept clean. I highly recommend this hotel.
I can’t thank Nancy, Tom and the rest of the staff for all that they did for me. I was in a difficult situation and had to crash here for almost 2 months and they made everything feel a lot more at ease with their amazing service and attentiveness. Whether it be getting you the essentials you need for your stay or just having a great chat, I had such a great experience. I really recommend this location for anybody who is also in a tough spot or even just needing a quick place to crash on the way through town. You won’t regret it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
??? ??? 1?? Review I stayed at the Extended Stay America at 1291 W. 120th Ave., Westminster, CO (Room ***) for over 30 days. Under Colorado law, this established me as a tenant with residency rights, not just a short-term guest. I asked management for basic paperwork confirming my residency, which I needed for my small business (Greatness Over Desperation LLC, EIN ending in 2594). Instead of receiving help, I was refused by a front desk agent named T, who not only denied me the paperwork but also escalated the matter by calling the police. My understanding is that the police did not want to involve themselves in what was clearly a civil matter. However, the following morning I received a call from management, who confirmed I was being removed from the property. I was forced to vacate under duress and constant threat of police involvement — despite paying for my stay and being fully entitled to remain. What made this worse is the way payments and reservations were handled. Extended Stay requires you to pay week by week, and even though I had already paid for the current week, I was forced out before it ended — with no refund or acknowledgment. On top of that, my reservation was already confirmed through the end of December, but I was told I couldn’t prepay for the full stay. In other words, my commitment as a long-term resident was clear and established, yet no recognition or protection was given to me. I was living with my partner (soon to be my wife), and management added to the tension by telling her she could stay if I left — even though I was the one paying for the residence. That decision placed an unfair financial and emotional burden on her, and to this day she is still covering costs that we should never have been forced to separate. This experience was deeply frustrating, disruptive, and unprofessional. It caused serious harm to my business operations, delayed filings, wasted prepaid lodging, and created unnecessary financial strain on both of us. What should have been a simple request for documentation turned into games, confrontation, and eviction tactics that have no place in a professional operation. there is a serious lack of training, oversight, and accountability at both the local and “corporate” level. No paying guest — and certainly no long-term resident with a clear extended reservation — should be treated this way.
