While some guests appreciate the staff's friendliness and convenient location, recurring problems with room conditions, amenities, and security have significantly impacted the guest experience.
Got to the hotel and was helped right away. Got to the room and it smelt like sewage. I sprayed the room to see if I could get rid of it. It was coming from the shower. I was on the 3rd floor and it sounded like someone was above me moving furniture alllllll night. So I asked for a room change. Got moved across the hall. Smell was better but still stinky. And again the sounds above sounded like people moving furniture. But I’m pretty sure the pipes are shaking in the walls. The bedding was stained which I get it to an extent but there were fake eyelashes stuck to the main blanket so that went to the floor. I took the do not disturb sign off the door so the room could be cleaned and got nothing. Trash is still full and my pile of blankets and towels are still sitting there. Went to use the hot tub and the jets don’t work, the water in the hot tub and pool was dirty. Just not well maintenanced at all. The location is pretty good but I would rather the location be an inconvenience then to stay at this days in again.
Pros: Great location, and convenient. Friendly and professional staff. Cons: Breakfast was ok. Hot meal consist of biscuits and gravy. I didn't even bother; I brought a blender and made smoothies during my stay. Outside building was dirty, and a lot of homeless people stay there. There was a car with two dogs that kept barking every time we go to our car, that was another safety concern. Lastly, the pool was very slippery. My husband slipped on the stairs, it left him with bruise and pain.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Fair number of homeless in parking felt a little sketch. Rooms were small but clean. Breakfast area was a traffic jam. Good hot tub.
Decent stay. Floor was Dusty underneath the furniture and in the corners of the room. There usually wasn't anyone at the front desk whenever I went down there. I had to wait a few times. Even had to call the front desk twice to ask for an iron because nobody was near the phone. Was a nice location though. Very convenient for me.
I booked this hotel because I thought Wyndham hotels were considered quality, clean hotels, and the pool and jacuzzi hot tub. I was shocked how poorly the pool area was. The jets in the hot tube do not work and the pool was cold not clean and run down. ( even though it was an indoor pool). The continental breakfast was decent but kind of sparse. The coffee was great though. The hotel is very noisy. Had to wear earplugs to sleep. The only thing I appreciated was how the hotel staff were kind and helpful. I needed a hair dryer and they provided one because they are not kept in the rooms. ( stealing - I suppose is why?) The rooms were cleaned daily and nicely. That’s a plus. I was just shocked how the pictures of the pool and hot tube advertised by Days Inn/ Wyndham are false and not accurate. They need to do better about that. I did get a good deal from Expedia, though. I should have read the reviews before I chose this hotel. It was located to a lot of close areas I needed to go to - so that’s a plus.
Nothing like the photos. The breakfast was simple. The water in shower stayed cold but the sink was hot. No coffee maker in room, no hair dryer. Had to ask for hand soap and shampoo/conditioner. Was not already in room Sheets for blankets. Needed more towels and housekeeping isn't available for this service, had to take all the dirty towels out myself for exchange at the front. I asked for housekeeping 2 days in a row for a 3 night stay and it never happened. I kept asking the front and all they kept saying was they are really busy. I had to ask for a trash bag to take out my own trash. And the gym, couldn't use cause the door was jammed, my husband and the guy up front went trying to unlock it. He helped them! Never got to use the gym. The pool was dirty and cold and the hot tub smelled like trash. Internet wifi isn't secure and didn't always connect. I have actually paid for cheaper hotels with better service in the past. Definitely disappointed. I don't think I can ever stay at a days inn ever again.
The whole staff from the cleaning crew and the front desk staff are very nice. They are all very helpful and they actually seem like they like their jobs, they always smile and are so polite. I've been to quite a few hotels due to looking for an apartment I can afford and Days Inn is the only hotel where it's a pleasant atmosphere.
Terrible place to stay. Warm water doesnt kick in until 10 minutes after running the water. Rooms are tiny and very loud. Walls are super thin and can hear everything from outside. Place gets shot up frequently. Homeless people filling the lobby at night cause they dont lock the doors like other hotels do. Homeless people all around outside during the day and my car was broken into during my stay while the car was parked right outside the front of the building. Its a 2 star hotel for a reason
I am absolutely LIVID about this experience at your hotel. A few days ago, we stayed one night before moving into our new place, and I accidentally left my baby’s pack-and-play mattress in the room. I KNOW it was there—I’m 100% certain. I called the front desk to ask if someone could check for it and hold it so I could come pick it up. The girl who answered was unbelievably RUDE from the start—condescending, dismissive, and acting like I was bothering her. I had to repeat myself FOUR TIMES just to explain what I was looking for, and by the fifth time, when I was understandably getting frustrated, she snapped back with an attitude and said she’d “check” and only call me if they found it—but she wouldn’t bother calling if they didn’t. Are you serious?! A simple courtesy call either way would have taken two minutes and shown basic customer service. Instead, I got treated like an inconvenience. Now I’m out $55 and have to buy a whole new mattress for my baby because either housekeeping threw it away, someone took it, or—this is what really burns me—this front desk person was so annoyed with me that she couldn’t be bothered to actually look or follow up. I’m furious. That mattress was definitely left in the room, and the complete lack of care or professionalism has me regretting ever staying there. This is unacceptable. Still waiting for my $50 deposit that I was not told about when I called about a room and made a reservation over the phone. Especially paying card you want a $50 deposit? How long does this take because I got the room Thursday and this is Monday.
The bad: My room had no hot water (not in the shower or sink)! The king bed was made up with a queen sheet that was too small for it (so all night I had to keep trying to stretch the sheet back over the corners.) When I arrived at the room, the TV was on (who was hanging out there before me?) Also, my room was 4 feet from the elevator and about 5 feet from an ice machine. The noise was intolerable (even when I put on earbuds with white noise.) The good: the front desk folks were polite, but I was promised a refund for not having hot water---which I haven't received. They have half and half and some hot food (biscuits and gravy) for the free breakfast which was nice. However, the coffee was basically brown water, the weakest coffee I have ever had at a hotel. The room and lobby seemed clean and fairly recently updated. But, since it was so noisy and there were so many sketchy characters in the lobby and outside, I did not dare look at the pool or fitness center. (I arrived close to 11 pm, and walked in on a woman and her extended family screaming at the front desk clerk.) In my many years of traveling for work, this is the second worst hotel experience I have ever had. I would have been safer and more comfortable sleeping in my car. I got this hotel using the Hotel.com app, which I will not ever use again.
