The Aloft Denver North Westminster receives generally positive reviews, highlighting its convenient location close to restaurants and shops, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. However, some recent guests experienced issues with room availability, check-in processes, and delivery services, indicating potential operational challenges.
I travel all the time for work and use different brands and hotels. Everything was great with my stay, except for the fact that I was signed up for a membership without my knowledge. When i checked out, the front desk agent asked me to verify some information with him concerning an account issue. It turns out, I was signed up for a membership before I even arrived at the hotel. Management needs to fix this issue. Other then that, my stay was perfect! Housekeeping was amazing and the agent who discovered the issue. If Marriott can fix the internal issues, this hotel can be amazing!!
What a great hotel! Nice amenities, comfy beds, and very quite. Tons of shopping, bars and restaurants within a short walk. Brandon was very friendly and accommodating checking me in. The bar is very reasonably priced and Cole was a great bartender. Easily one of the best hotels in the Denver Metro.
Outstanding service and comfort. Was told coffee was served at 630. Went down the first morning and it was out at 6. Second morning was down at 530 and the gal asked if I was waiting for coffee. I said yes and she stopped what she was doing to get the coffee out for me. Will certainly it be coming back!! Thanks you!
I needed a hotel in a pinch due to issues at my house, booked the room same day, called and got it confirmed. The representative at the front desk was absolutely amazing. I believe her name was Jasmine. Very helpful and made my stay even more enjoyable during this rough time. Thank you!!
Best bartender in the Bonvoy network! Great fitness center, rooms are typical Aloft style. So many great places to walk to for dinner, especially Windfall Brewing!
Excellent location with several restaurants within walking distance. Gym is fairly well equipped. Rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. Quiet, even though there is an interstate nearby. My one complaint was that despite the large rooms, there was no proper desk and chair, so it was uncomfortable to try to do work for any period of time.
Cleanest hotel room I’ve checked into in years. Friendly staff, good amenities. The rooms are small but very functional and we never felt cramped. (Just make sure you understand what kind of room you’re getting.) Locations is very good. Walkable retail area with many restaurants and stores.
The entire staff that I dealt with during my stay was beyond helpful and pleasant. I cannot say enough about them. Lex was working the front desk and not only did she remember me and a request I had made hours before, I observed her constant professionalism as she addressed the requests of multiple guests at once. The staff did their jobs while still acknowledging the guests and seemed to like what they did. Usually the sign of happy employees - I hope this is the case and I hope that management maintains this and recognizes all the employees who make our stays so comfortable that we want to leave a positive review.
Customer service was great from reception to departure. Room was very clean and new with great beds and awesome shower. Lobby has pool table, free games, nice bar, and nice pool area. No free breakfast, but there are purchasable options available and microwave to use. No complaints and surprised by some of the negative comments that almost kept us from staying here. I recommend giving it a try.
I’ve stayed in plenty of budget-friendly hotels and don’t expect luxury, but what I do expect is basic hospitality — and Aloft missed the mark. When I arrived around 7pm, the front desk was overwhelmed, and several guests were being told their rooms weren’t ready because they “hadn’t been cleaned yet.” That’s unacceptable that late in the day. I had checked in via the app the day before, and even then, I wasn’t able to access my room key — which made me nervous seeing the chaos unfold around me. Thankfully I did get a room, but it felt like luck more than anything. The room itself was clean and relatively comfortable. Good white noise, decent bed. But the shower water pressure was terrible — a small thing, but it made a difference. And speaking of “small things,” I ordered Uber Eats in the morning while getting ready, and the hotel wouldn’t allow the driver to bring it up to my room. I understand the “safety” excuse, but this is a hotel that doesn’t offer room service — so it just creates more hassle for paying guests. Most other hotels in this price range do allow delivery to the door. Overall, it seems like the people running this hotel don’t care — not about the guests, and definitely not about the staff. I felt genuinely bad for the front desk employees who were being yelled at by frustrated guests. If the hotel had just communicated delays ahead of time — a simple phone call or message if a room won’t be ready until 8pm — guests could make alternate plans. Instead, people were left waiting and angry. That’s not just bad service — it’s bad leadership. Until Aloft rethinks how it treats both staff and guests, I’ll stay elsewhere.
