The Hilton Garden Inn Longmont offers a comfortable stay with a focus on value and cleanliness, often praised for its friendly staff and convenient location near downtown Longmont. However, guests have reported issues with room maintenance, particularly concerning privacy and connectivity, as well as inconsistent follow-up on reported problems.
It was easy to appreciate the place from the very beginning. The reception team were efficient, warm, and genuinely attentive, which made arrival feel smooth and comfortable. The room was immaculate and impressively quiet, breakfast was straightforward but carefully prepared, and the peaceful surroundings created the perfect conditions for deep, restful sleep. What leaves the strongest impression, though, is the value. The level of comfort and care feels significantly higher than the price suggests, making this somewhere I would gladly recommend and happily return to.
Enjoyed our stay at the hotel in Longmont. Very convenient for visiting relatives and friends. Enjoyed the hiking trails at the back of the hotel. Pool was a hit with my grandson. Also - good workout room. Breakfast buffet was more than adequate. And appreciated having a bar at the hotel, even if we didn't have time to use it! The one drawback with the rooms is the stupid glass sliding door to the bathroom. It offers little privacy, took a lot of effort to close and even when closed it wouldn't stay completely shut. Seems like it would be much simpler to use a "real" old-fashioned door on the bathroom and would provide much greater privacy. Why do hotels insist on these ridiculous "modern" features!
I stayed here on January 1 with my niece and nephew as I had a medical appointment. I rarely have a bad experience at a Hilton hotel, and they definitely prove to be superior to other hotel chains (in my opinion). This one was no different. The location was good - close to restaurants, stores, and gas stations. The lobby was clean, quiet, elegant, beautiful decor, and had ample seating and a fireplace. There is a bar (though I didn't try it) and a mini shop you can buy essentials from. The pool was clean and warm and all areas are secure. The front desk staff were helpful and accommodating and very friendly. We were offered our choice of floor (my niece wanted the top floor), so we were assigned a 6th floor room. The hallways and rooms had a nice smell. The views were fabulous. The rooms were very clean, updated, and stocked with waters and coffees (unless you were a higher-up Hilton member, the waters cost $3). There was plenty of storage, a desk and chair, an extra lounge chair, an iron and ironing board, a room safe, and plenty of hangers. The bathroom was super clean and fully stocked. The beds were clean and comfortable with plenty of comfortable pillows. Good lighting, a mini coffee bar, ample storage area, a mini-fridge (make sure you turn it on), and a microwave. I booked a night that included breakfast and was only about $11 more expensive, and I'm so glad I did! Lots of variety and options to choose from - fruits, cereals, Waffle machine, eggs, bacon, biscuits, turkey sausage, regular sausage, yogurts, fried potatoes, and more. There was also a self-service coffee maker in the lobby next to the bar. Michelle, the kitchen/dining room staff attendant, was LOVELY, and I definitely made a point to get her name because she definitely deserves a raise! She was sitting and chatting with another guest for a bit then came up and engaged my niece and nephew in some conversation, which I knew they loved. Learned a lot about her and she takes customer service to a whole other level. Really, I have no major complaints about this hotel and I wouldn't think twice about staying here again. Definitely recommend! The drawbacks: the walls were somewhat thin so I could hear banging from the adjacent room; the bathroom fan wasn't working; and it was close to the train tracks and unfortunately, could hear it everytime it went by.
Disappointing Follow-Through and Lack of Customer Care I stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn expecting the level of service associated with the Hilton brand, but unfortunately that was not my experience. During my stay, the television in my room would not connect to the Internet. I contacted the staff three separate times requesting assistance, but the issue was never resolved. What was most frustrating was not the technical problem itself, but the lack of follow-through. At checkout, I asked whether the hotel could honor its “Make It Right” promise. The front desk associate said she would pass my request along to the manager. After hearing nothing for over a month, I contacted the hotel again and spoke with Gladys, who indicated she would also share my concerns with the manager (David, I believe). Despite these multiple attempts, I never received any response. The complete lack of communication and accountability is dismaying. Issues can happen, but ignoring a guest’s repeated outreach, both during and after a stay, reflects poorly on the hotel’s customer focus and management practices. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as better responsiveness and follow-through would significantly improve the guest experience.
The bed wasn't that comfortable. It was too firm and wasn't friendly for my arthritis. The restaurant food was terrribbbllleeee! My chicken sandwich was less than half the size of a chicken breast. The bread seemed microwaved and smelled of metal. The breakfast was good enough. It was dog friendly.
Stayed overnight found a broken meth pipe under the mattress. When reported to the front end agent they were not concerned about this and told us that they would switch our room begrudgingly. The disconnect that this agent had was very upsetting when I had 2 children accompanying me during this stay and could not explain to them why we were switching rooms. This also shows that the cleaning does not get properly done in most likely ANY of the rooms. I also want to point out that this hotel chain is usually a pretty trusted and well cleaned hotel from my experience in travel. This is not only a health hazard which should be reported, but also a safety hazard to guests and staff alike. If your staff really were doing the checks and cleanings they should be doing to a Hilton standard, this type of thing should NOT happen! This was on October 17,2025 at 8:51pm. You want travelers to feel clean and cozy, yet you allow THIS to be under their beds and your staff to not properly check/ clean? Also, was told by overnight front desk agent that the manager would not be in until the morning, this statement was proven to be a lie by the morning staff who said the manager would be in the following Monday and would reach out. However we have not received any form of communication regarding our stay from the manager David.
We appreciate the location and easy access to downtown Longmont. Our room easily accommodated 2 adults, but we were really only there to sleep. Beautifully clean bathroom. Enjoyed the lounge and friendly staff, we just were not around enough to catch anyone's name.
I recently stayed here for three nights on a work trip. After being delayed four hours at the airport and getting in well after midnight, it was nice to have a friendly interaction with the front desk. My room was clean and that bed was one of the best hotel beds that I have slept on recently. The hotel still has a new feel to it and there is a great little walking path right behind it. My last night there, I visited the small bar in the lobby and the bartender working there was also very friendly. I am a Hilton Gold member and typically try to stay at Hilton hotels. I would definitely stay here again when I am back in Longmont.
