Recent reviews at the Home2Suites Longmont reveal significant operational challenges including severe understaffing, inconsistent service, and issues with billing errors leading to customer dissatisfaction. While some guests appreciate the spacious rooms and amenities, recurring cleanliness concerns, specifically mold in the showers, and noise disturbances from surrounding areas are prevalent. Overall, the property is experiencing a decline in guest satisfaction.

Me and my partner were looking to check in after a long day. We’ve stayed here many times previously with no issues with the room or room service, but the young woman working the front desk (with blue hair and a terrible attitude) was very unhelpful and unpleasant to speak to. She was condescending in nature and was too focused on her food to even notice us attempting to check in, and once we got her attention she was impatient and rude. She didn’t give us a chance to ask questions about check in and abrasively told us to leave unless we had a key card (also while still chewing/eating her dinner…) We ended up going to the Hampton Inn down the road and the service was night and day compared to this blue haired woman working the front desk. I feel bad for anyone looking for a place to stay and has to interact with her to do so. We won’t be returning. Kindness goes a long way.

My family and I enjoyed our time at the hotel and were pleased with the rooms and the facility itself. However, we are giving this hotel 1 star for the following reasons: Severe Understaffing: The hotel was clearly understaffed. One employee was left to manage the entire breakfast service alone, and housekeeping was lacking—likely due to the same staffing issue. While inconvenient, this alone would not have prevented us from returning. Unjust $500 Smoking Fee: The real issue was being charged an exorbitant $500 fee for smoking in a room where no smoking occurred. The hotel’s sensors falsely flagged my hair dryer as smoke—a documented issue with certain hotel sensors. I was staying with my brother and my 12-year-old daughter. Neither of us smoke, and I would never allow smoking around my child. Poor Customer Service and Lack of Management: I immediately called to dispute the charge and was told to fill out a form since the GM, Derek, was unavailable. I was told he would be in Monday, but when I called, he was not. I called again Tuesday and was told he had already left for the day at 1 PM. At no point was management available during a busy holiday period, and the front desk staff were dismissive and rude. A hotel operating during holidays should have management accessible or at least ensure issues are addressed promptly. Unprofessional Handling of Dispute: Derek denied my claim twice, despite evidence from both myself and my brother. His only response was repeatedly sending the same report, showing a lack of willingness or ability to resolve the issue. His absence during critical business hours and failure to assist customers reflects poorly on his leadership. I will never stay at this hotel again and will share this experience widely. I expect a full refund and will escalate this matter to corporate. My family will do the same.

This hotel has terrible service. Do not stay here. They promise breakfast until 9am, but actually stop replenishing the food around 7:30am. I had a coffee (no milk, despite asking and being told it would be replaced) and watched as dozens of people ate whatever scraps were left and then went hungry after they ran out of waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, and pastries before 8:15am, despite promises from the front desk and a handful of roving management types that more was coming (it never came). The housekeeping staff was nice but stretched way too thin and only serviced the room once in a five day stay, after asking. The management is clearly skimping, and this is the worst Hilton property I have ever stayed at.

We accidentally left an unopened bottle of wine in the room and were told they can’t return it to us because “it’s a liability,” and prior to that they claimed that they threw it away… Beyond that, their 6-9am breakfast bar was not restocked after 8am so plan accordingly if you’d like to eat. One of the least impressive Hilton stays I’ve had to date.

This is nice hotel. I really like Home2 Suites with a small refrigerator with full freezer. I can refreeze ice packs over night. The room is clean and comfortable. I wish hotel was turned slightly for full views of the mountains. Also there are nice eating options in a short walk.

Room was spacious, clean and well equipped, the bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Walls are paper thin though so a loud guest nearby or trains passing in the night can disturb your sleep, as it did for me 2 out of 6 nights. Also the breakfast lacked any sort of fresh vegetables, which was wild for me. Overall not a bad experience but I’ll try somewhere else on my next stay.

Front desk staff were great. Issue really is that they allow patio access 24 hours a day. We are only staying the night to have a short drive for a race in Boulder but we haven't actually gotten much sleep. Doors have been slamming, people coming and going, noise, sounds like gymnastics upstairs, I finally went down after 30 minutes of LOUD bumping music at 330am to be told we should just call. I have 3 small kids in the room that we are doing our best to keep asleep so picking up the phone is difficult. But they claimed they were shutting down the party because there is a noise ordinance. Now they are LOUDER! Music is still playing but they are YELLING and slamming doors now. There doesn't seem to be much staff are able to do to keep this from happening even though they were nice, nothing changed. The pool is COLD also. The room itself is big but we found hair all over the bathroom including a giant black one when I opened the first towel. Not the worst room but we won't return.

I've been here twice. Rooms are a good size. Service is good. Both times showers have had mold and red algae (common in CO) in the showers. Both are easy to clean so I'm not sure why it's there. The first time I came i saw a guy a block away shooting up in his truck. This time I watched 3 guys outside of my window doing drugs. I even got a video of it. The hotel is on the edge of a difficult neighborhood, but otherwise in a good spot. Be careful on the backside.
