The Home2Suites by Hilton Longmont consistently receives positive feedback, particularly praising its family-friendly suites, exceptional customer service, and generous amenities like a 24-hour gym and outdoor patio. However, recent reviews highlight recurring issues with inconsistent room cleanliness, occasional staffing shortages affecting breakfast and housekeeping, and concerning noise levels related to outdoor access.

This has quickly become our favorite hotel in Longmont! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was exceptional. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. It was some of the best hotel customer service we’ve experienced in a long time and really set the tone for our stay. The rooms are absolutely adorable and incredibly family friendly. We love the separating curtain that creates the feeling of two separate spaces while still being one large suite, which is especially helpful when traveling with kids. The room is thoughtfully designed with a pullout desk for work, a comfortable pullout couch for additional sleeping space, plenty of drawer, cabinet, and shelving storage, plus a microwave, full size refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, and even dishes, bowls, and silverware included. Everything was spotless, from the beautiful bathroom to the living and sleeping areas. The decor is one of our favorite parts. The fun colors, modern design, and overall vibe make the hotel feel welcoming, stylish, and unique. It feels both swanky and cozy at the same time. The gym is open 24 hours and has everything you would expect, and I especially appreciated the individual TVs on the treadmills. The outdoor patio area is wonderful, with a fireplace, barbecue grills, and picnic tables that make it easy to relax or gather with family and friends. The pool is absolutely charming and is open until 11 PM, which is a huge plus for families wanting to swim after a day of exploring. There is also laundry available on site, making longer stays much more convenient. One feature we really appreciated was the entertainment options. The TVs offer Netflix, live TV, HBO, and several other streaming options, which made downtime in the room easy and enjoyable. Breakfast is simple compared to some larger hotels, but it includes all the essentials and is complimentary, which is always appreciated. The hotel is also pet friendly for an additional fee, making it a great option for travelers bringing their furry family members along. The only minor hiccup we encountered was that the rooms do not appear to be stocked with conditioner. The front desk does have it available upon request, but the bottles are quite small, so I would recommend bringing your own if that’s important to you. This is actually the first Hilton property we’ve stayed at that didn’t have conditioner already in the room, but it was a very small inconvenience in an otherwise fantastic stay. For the price, this hotel offers incredible value. It has amenities that many higher priced hotels don’t offer while maintaining a comfortable, home away from home feel. Whether you’re traveling with family, visiting as a couple, bringing your pets, or in town for business, this hotel is a fantastic choice. We will definitely be back!

After checking out I noticed on my receipt that I was charged a $300 smoking fee. I’ve never smoked a day in my life! The front desk directed me to file a dispute claim and emailed me some ridiculous smoke report that apparently is proof of smoke in the room. Did one of their employees enter my room with a cigarette, etc? Five days after filing a dispute claim I’m still waiting for a response from the management regarding refunding this fraudulent charge.

We stayed here for 10 days. When checking in, the girl at the desk ask for proof that my dog is a service dog. We brought "proof" to the hotel manager. She said she did not want to see it and that she will speak to her employees about asking for service dog proof. When we checked out, there was a $300 pet fee on my bill. They took it off, but not after we had to talk to them about my service dog a second time. This place also has some kind of smoking detector in the room that goes off with falce alarms all the time. The coffee in the lobby is watery. On the other hand, the room service ladies were very nice and did a very good job on the room.

We stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days and we loved every minute. The staff was phenomenal Jody and Dani especially we were the sisters in room 421! The breakfast was yummy and ton of variety. The pool was perfect for relaxing after a busy day shopping and site seeing. Everything we needed was within 15 mins away or less, the housekeeping was wonderful too! Thank you Homes 2 Hilton

I stayed on this hotel because it’s close to the Prometric Test Center (where I was doing an exam) and it was just a short easy walk from there. I spent 6 days there, the room was great, really big, comfy and well equipped. The breakfast was nice, changing a little each day, made it easy for me to eat before my exam. The pool was fine too, and they had a Mario Kart time and some board games for entertainment. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Me and my partner were looking to check in after a long day. We’ve stayed here many times previously with no issues with the room or room service, but the young woman working the front desk (with blue hair and a terrible attitude) was very unhelpful and unpleasant to speak to. She was condescending in nature and was too focused on her food to even notice us attempting to check in, and once we got her attention she was impatient and rude. She didn’t give us a chance to ask questions about check in and abrasively told us to leave unless we had a key card (also while still chewing/eating her dinner…) We ended up going to the Hampton Inn down the road and the service was night and day compared to this blue haired woman working the front desk. I feel bad for anyone looking for a place to stay and has to interact with her to do so. We won’t be returning. Kindness goes a long way.

My family and I enjoyed our time at the hotel and were pleased with the rooms and the facility itself. However, we are giving this hotel 1 star for the following reasons: Severe Understaffing: The hotel was clearly understaffed. One employee was left to manage the entire breakfast service alone, and housekeeping was lacking—likely due to the same staffing issue. While inconvenient, this alone would not have prevented us from returning. Unjust $500 Smoking Fee: The real issue was being charged an exorbitant $500 fee for smoking in a room where no smoking occurred. The hotel’s sensors falsely flagged my hair dryer as smoke—a documented issue with certain hotel sensors. I was staying with my brother and my 12-year-old daughter. Neither of us smoke, and I would never allow smoking around my child. Poor Customer Service and Lack of Management: I immediately called to dispute the charge and was told to fill out a form since the GM, Derek, was unavailable. I was told he would be in Monday, but when I called, he was not. I called again Tuesday and was told he had already left for the day at 1 PM. At no point was management available during a busy holiday period, and the front desk staff were dismissive and rude. A hotel operating during holidays should have management accessible or at least ensure issues are addressed promptly. Unprofessional Handling of Dispute: Derek denied my claim twice, despite evidence from both myself and my brother. His only response was repeatedly sending the same report, showing a lack of willingness or ability to resolve the issue. His absence during critical business hours and failure to assist customers reflects poorly on his leadership. I will never stay at this hotel again and will share this experience widely. I expect a full refund and will escalate this matter to corporate. My family will do the same.

This hotel has terrible service. Do not stay here. They promise breakfast until 9am, but actually stop replenishing the food around 7:30am. I had a coffee (no milk, despite asking and being told it would be replaced) and watched as dozens of people ate whatever scraps were left and then went hungry after they ran out of waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, and pastries before 8:15am, despite promises from the front desk and a handful of roving management types that more was coming (it never came). The housekeeping staff was nice but stretched way too thin and only serviced the room once in a five day stay, after asking. The management is clearly skimping, and this is the worst Hilton property I have ever stayed at.

We accidentally left an unopened bottle of wine in the room and were told they can’t return it to us because “it’s a liability,” and prior to that they claimed that they threw it away… Beyond that, their 6-9am breakfast bar was not restocked after 8am so plan accordingly if you’d like to eat. One of the least impressive Hilton stays I’ve had to date.

This is nice hotel. I really like Home2 Suites with a small refrigerator with full freezer. I can refreeze ice packs over night. The room is clean and comfortable. I wish hotel was turned slightly for full views of the mountains. Also there are nice eating options in a short walk.
