The Fairfield Inn & Suites Boulder offers a generally affordable option for travelers, particularly those seeking proximity to Denver and Rocky Mountain National Park. While some reviewers praise the helpful staff and convenient location, concerns regarding cleanliness, breakfast quality, and staff performance have been noted.
We stayed here for our Rocky Mountain NP trip as this was the most affordable option we could find on short notice that was fairly close to both RMNP and Denver. Great value for what you get. Rooms are quiet and beds are comfortable. Fairly clean with the exception of a few curtain stains. Cons are really sad breakfast, horrible coffee, and insane water pressure in the shower.
Here from Chicago for a long weekend getaway. We were met at the front desk by John who was the absolute best!!!! He was so warm and welcoming. He had so many great recommendations! He was always so much fun to talk to when my partner and I would come back for the night after a day out. We were in a king bed suite, the beds are a little more firm than we like but that’s our only complaint. Room was clean and spacious with all the amenities we needed on this trip.
The room was ok but very clean. Everything was white in the room and had some difficulty sleeping because the blankets and beading smelled like bleach. Woke up congested. Also it was advertised that it had a free continental breakfast but there wasn’t one. The location was ok but not really close to anything and was kinda in a neighborhood. For a last minute place to stay it worked out but would not stay there again just because of the strong bleach smell.
Maria G. went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, her warm and gracious hospitality made us feel right at home. She is a true asset to the team and turned a simple hotel stay into a phenomenal experience for my family and me.
So, I give it 3 and 2 for service... a few reasons for this. I stay all over the place, and I had a very uncomfortable experience with a staff member here on evening shift. I don't know if he was tripping on something but I couldn't ay for my snack for about 15 minutes while he rambled... the rest of the staff seemed very, unmotivated and just kinda there to collect the check. I had 1 staff member on my check in that was good. Maybe this is solely my experience, but a full week there I just couldn't give it a better rating.
Room wasn't exactly a mess but wasn't clean either. Sticky stuff on the wall and an extremely dirty tissue on the ground when I walked in. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was solid with basic options and the room wasn't busy so it was a good experience overall. Staff also cleared the snow from the sidewalks quickly in the morning which was nice.
Came in late at night and the check in attendant was rude and had an attitude. If he hates his job that much, he should consider quitting instead of making paying guests feel unwelcome. I would’ve gone somewhere else if I hadn’t prepaid for my reservation. I will not be coming back.
The front desk agent was fast and efficient. There was an odd smell in the elevator and halls, but not in the rooms. The closet is small and the hanging rod is very low, unfortunately, too low to hang anything long like a dress.
Their management is awesome ... communicative and followed up as we had a unique situation come up. Absolutely give them business, you won't regret it. Great location and reasonably priced vs downtown.
We really enjoyed our stay with a group of 4 rooms. Stayed here over long weekend for an event in boulder and everything was clean, fresh, easy to access and excellent customer service. If we come back to Boulder, this will be our goto.
