The Fairfield Inn & Suites Boulder receives mixed reviews, with some guests praising the convenient location, helpful staff, and reasonable pricing. However, recent feedback indicates issues with inconsistent service quality and cleanliness, particularly concerning some rooms and staff interactions. Overall, the property shows potential but needs improvement in several areas to consistently meet guest expectations.
So, I give it 3 and 2 for service... a few reasons for this. I stay all over the place, and I had a very uncomfortable experience with a staff member here on evening shift. I don't know if he was tripping on something but I couldn't ay for my snack for about 15 minutes while he rambled... the rest of the staff seemed very, unmotivated and just kinda there to collect the check. I had 1 staff member on my check in that was good. Maybe this is solely my experience, but a full week there I just couldn't give it a better rating.
Room wasn't exactly a mess but wasn't clean either. Sticky stuff on the wall and an extremely dirty tissue on the ground when I walked in. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was solid with basic options and the room wasn't busy so it was a good experience overall. Staff also cleared the snow from the sidewalks quickly in the morning which was nice.
Came in late at night and the check in attendant was rude and had an attitude. If he hates his job that much, he should consider quitting instead of making paying guests feel unwelcome. I would’ve gone somewhere else if I hadn’t prepaid for my reservation. I will not be coming back.
The front desk agent was fast and efficient. There was an odd smell in the elevator and halls, but not in the rooms. The closet is small and the hanging rod is very low, unfortunately, too low to hang anything long like a dress.
Their management is awesome ... communicative and followed up as we had a unique situation come up. Absolutely give them business, you won't regret it. Great location and reasonably priced vs downtown.
We really enjoyed our stay with a group of 4 rooms. Stayed here over long weekend for an event in boulder and everything was clean, fresh, easy to access and excellent customer service. If we come back to Boulder, this will be our goto.
A short drive to Pearl Street, the location is great. The room was clean, the bed comfy and we even had a mountain view! Breakfast is included so each morning before our hikes we were able to grab a cup of coffee, fruit and whatever else. The gym is new and I loved filling my water bottle with their filtered water! Ari the general manager is so kind and helpful! We appreciate him and his staff. Will definitely go back!
The staff were friendly, thus two stars. I’m used to this price range and have realistic expectations. Crumbs on the floor from a previous guest. Fridge and microwave not working. Half the lights were broken. Something really interesting going on under the shared nightstand related to electricity (see photo). Thin walls- neighboring room had normal conversations and it was like they were with us. On a whim I asked for earplugs which resulted in commiserating laughter from front desk. Bonus point for covered parking. Convenient to CU Boulder and priced for people with normal incomes.
The staff here are amazing. Every single person went above and beyond to ensure a great stay. I feel like customer service has been lost these days but here I couldn’t help but notice how amazing it is. The rooms are clean, we had a perfect view of the flatirons and the cost is great.
