The Comfort Inn & Suites consistently receives positive feedback for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenient location near downtown Boulder and public transportation. However, recent reviews highlight concerns regarding inconsistent service, price gouging, and property maintenance issues, particularly related to room conditions and staff responsiveness.
The staff here is super friendly, helpful. Check in is a breeze. The room was flawless and ready even though I was 5 hours early. Location is not ideal for my needs, but it's simple to find and get to on a major road. This is my third or fourth stay here in the last five years, the walkable area offers more each time I stay. Recommended.
I have stayed at this hotel at least six times in the last 3 years while my son has gone to school in Boulder. I have always enjoyed my time there and enjoyed the staff and the food and especially Dan at the front counter. However, when I attempted to book a week for graduation, I saw that they were charging $500 per night, during graduation weekend. Their normal University of Colorado rate is under $100. Unfortunately price gouging is not illegal. However, this hotel has lost my business if that's how they're going to take advantage of parents coming to see their children.
We needed a last minute booking due to travel issues. Boulder was experiencing power outages at the time but the hotel had power. The man working the front desk was a gentleman. The women was very rude and short, very unprofessional. We were already under a lot of stress and she was terribly rude. It’s not hard to be nice, especially when it’s your job.
Kyle at the front desk is absolutely AWFUL. I book rooms regularly for client's, I called the front desk to get a copy of my portfolio after checking out and he was so rude over the phone. He had the worst attitude, like my request was an inconvenience to him, when it is literally his job to assist guests- even after check-out. I paid for a week stay at this hotel but will definitely be looking elsewhere for my future client stays due to his complete lack of providing positive customer service or experience.
A perfect example of 5-star luxury. The ambiance was serene, the décor stunning, and the rooms incredibly comfortable. Every detail was carefully considered to ensure a premium experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for true elegance and comfort
This hotel offers everything you need for a comfortable vacation. The facilities were modern, and the lobby had a relaxing atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. I highly recommend this place for travelers.
This is the perfect spot. The rooms are fabulous, you’re so close to downtown Boulder. And I found it very easy to use the public transportation system.
Probably about the best economy hotel you can get in the City of Boulder. Rooms are typical Comfort Inn. All the basics are there: fridge, in room coffee. Clean room and comfortable bed. Good internet but lack of outlets in the room. Bring an extension cord, Breakfast is fair. Recommend walking to the coffee shop, Spruce Confections.
“We had a wonderful stay! We checked in around midnight and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in rooms 200 and 235, and both were super clean and comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job throughout our stay. Truly impressed with the service and hospitality
We stayed here once before about a year ago and it wasn't awful. This time, I would have rather slept outside in the rain. We called after we booked the room to request one that didnt have dogs previously stay in it due to a severe allergy I have. Kyle assured us that all rooms were cleaned and that it wouldnt stink. He also stated all rooms are allowed animals. The room smelled horrid of wet dog, the air conditioning didn't work (over 80 in the room all night), the toilet wouldnt flush, and the shower handle fell off in my hand when I tried to turn on the shower. When we called the front desk we were told oh well. The front desk staff acted as if it was an inconvenience to them that we even called. They were extremely rude. Do not waste your money. Stay anywhere else. We have stayed in a lot of Choice hotels across the country and this was the worst one.
