The Hilton Garden Inn Boulder offers a convenient location near downtown and shopping, with consistently positive feedback regarding staff friendliness and overall cleanliness. However, concerns persist around inconsistent room quality, parking fees, and outdated facilities, particularly regarding room fixtures and furnishings.
Dog friendly hotel with no grass. The restaurant is closed. The heated pool is outside in the weather. Embassy across the street provides food, only there is menu or any way to access a menu. Front desk is clueless. Transfered multiple times. Parking is in a garage but costs 24$ per day. Validation while available, did not work for the customer leaving as I pulled in and he had to pay. I am in one of the most beautiful locations in the world and you can only see the dumpster for strip mall next door or on the other side, a great view of concrete wall for embassy suites. This is a great business center but I am on vacation and this comes nowhere close to my standards of service and relaxation.
Stayed here for a few nights on a business trip last month. Would not stay here again. Was roomed in 445: - Fan/heater unit had an issue when the heater unit would turn on, the fan would start making an oscillating sound. - Water would not get above lukewarm for shower or sink. You could run it for 20 minutes and no change. - Breakfast host was quite rude to anyone that walked in.she appeared to expect anyone who walked in to understand the way the breakfast buffet was ran and was quite belittling to a few people. Breakfast was just plain jane. Informed the staff of my rooms issues on the way. Not sure if anything was addressed.
Overall, a good hotel. The high points are that it is conveniently located next to a nice shopping center and near downtown Boulder. The common areas are well maintained, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has an underground parking garage that you can pay for. If not, you have to find free parking on the street. I found that to be tricky sometimes because it seemed like the parking filled up on occasions. I didn't want to walk 2 - 3 blocks back to the hotel so I gave in and paid for the garage. The hotel had a decent workout room, but it was located on the 4th floor, in an odd location between hotel rooms. The main area of the hotel was spacious and had nice swinging chairs to relax in. The courtyard was spacious with several firepits available to lounge around. Overall, the hotel room was nice but quirky. The wallpaper was strange, with something like kid drawings of objects. The photos in the room were of people dressed as bushes. I had some issues with one of the dresser drawers being broken and having one of the rails fall off. The room also had a weird outlet set up with four switches. There were three switches that turned off individual outlets, except part of one and then a main switch that turned off all of the lights. The issue became irritating when I discovered that I couldn't have once switch on to power the alarm clock without having an outlet with an attached nightlight on, which was overly bright. I eventually gave up and just turned off all of the switches. I would stay again but, hopefully would not have the outlet issue with the next room.
Clean and serviceable. Pretty good compared to some ive stayed in. The staff are top notch, the best! The wifi wasnt working when I checked in and they offered to move me over to Embassy Suites, no charge. My only complaint is that they charge $24/day for parking. Should be free.
I had left an item behind after my stay and Kory Peterson, Director of Housekeeping, went above and beyond to locate my item and get it sent home to me promptly. Kory was communicative of the status and easy to get ahold of and I greatly appreciated their help. In addition, the hotel staff were friendly, it’s in a great location, and it’s a nice hotel
This luxury hotel truly exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, the staff treated me with exceptional care and professionalism. The room was stunning, with elegant décor and breathtaking views. It felt like a perfect blend of comfort, sophistication, and pure indulgence
Great location near restaurants and shops. Breakfast staff is super friendly. As far as room for improvement, the room I received was not as comfortable as the high cost of the rooms. HVAC unit is super loud interrupting sleep. Per my preference, the pillows were super soft and the linen rough, which also prevented me from getting fully rested. As a Diamond, they accomodated my requests without issues.
Location was great. Breakfast was tasty. Sadly the restaurant and happy hour was not open during our stay. The fire pit and outside lounge area is fantastic for gathering and hanging out. Fitness center was also good and parking was a little confusing at first but I appreciated having my diamond priority status parking right in front of the elevator.
I’m sure this was an ok hotel 20 plus years ago but it’s time for a renovation. The carpet and furnishings are very tired and the overall ambience is depressing. I asked for a quiet room and was put in a room overlooking the courtyard and a fire pit where people were loudly talking at nearly 11 pm. I would not stay here again. Charging $24 a night to park at a rundown hotel is ridiculous. I’d like to think there are better places to stay in this town.
The location of this hotel is great, the staff is very nice. The hotel is clean the rooms are morning special. I would say the value isn’t great on top of the fact you have to pay 24 dollars a day for parking. The pool is across the street at the embassy Suites.
