The Boulder Marriott consistently receives positive feedback for its beautiful property, excellent location, and particularly attentive staff. Recent reviews highlight staff members like David Latessa, Silvia, Olivia, and Michael, who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable guest experience. However, recent experiences have also raised concerns about customer service issues and pricing.
I stayed at the Boulder Marriott with my husband while he was in town for work. Beautiful property, great location and extremely clean, but it's the staff that make this property shine. It was my first time visiting Boulder, and I was really hoping to go skiing. I was initially discouraged after being told by several people that I would need to rent a car and that no one nearby rented ski clothing. (FYI - There is a bus from downtown Boulder that takes you to and from Eldora Ski Area in 45 min, runs every hour... easy peasy). David Latessa, the General Manager truly made our experience unforgettable. With just one phone call, he went completely above and beyond to help. He connected me with Josh at Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides (be sure to grab their pamphlet in the hotel lobby!). Within a matter of hours, I had ski clothes rented at a fraction of the cost I expected and enjoyed an amazing day skiing at Eldora. I also want to recognize Silvia in the lounge. Both my husband and I loved chatting with her each morning. She is incredibly kind, attentive, and a true asset this property. Thank you, Silvia, for making us feel so welcome! This stay exceeded expectations, and the staff truly made the difference. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.
I booked a room for a friend’s wedding. I got sick and cancelled my reservation. What a huge hassle. I was told by the front desk that I would not be charged. However, I did get charged on my credit card. When I called to get the charges reversed, I was put through robo-telephone hell. I finally talked to a human and once again was sent to “customer service” which was nothing more than another robo-telephone hell. The problem was never solved. You would think that a company that size could afford to hire real humans to provide real customer service. I will never book with Marriott again.
A leading hotel choice in Boulder. The Boulder Marriott has been around for some time as Boulder continues to grow. Now, it is one of a growing number of hotels in Boulder. Importantly, this property has been strong of years -- renovated and updated throughout its history, it remains an excellent choice. The service and amenities are well curated without being too fussy or complicated. The location is convenient to most things -- driving, walking, etc. Importantly the customer-facing staff are consistently friendly and service-oriented -- too many to mention here. Literally every interaction with the front desk team has been efficient and resulted in good outcomes.
January 2025: Stayed here for three nights and enjoyed my stay. I got upgraded to a bigger room, which was nice. They have an executive lounge and as a platinum bonvoy member, I got access. One night, I had chicken wings and egg rolls as a snack. No beer or wine during the happy hour. But there's a bar on site. Bed was very comfortable. Pillows were also very comfortable. Got a fairly good night's sleep. Service was friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
The Boulder Marriott is a stunning property with hidden gems like a cozy fire pit, bike rentals, and a small rooftop patio. Leah Hall at the front desk was incredibly helpful. Located within walking distance to Buff City Restauran order the Two Step on the menu, it also features an indoor pool and much more for a memorable stay.
Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Parking was $25 a night, which is fine, just keep that in mind for the total cost. Not bad at all. Thanks for the experience, we'll be back!
I recently visited the Marriott in Boulder, CO, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel has a truly luxurious atmosphere—elegant, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, making it the perfect place to relax after a long day. A special shoutout goes to **Olivia at the front desk**, who absolutely made my visit even better. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and extremely helpful with everything I needed. Olivia brings the perfect energy and warmth to the hotel; her professionalism and friendly attitude really elevate the entire guest experience. You can tell she genuinely cares about making guests feel at home. Overall, I highly recommend this Marriott. The ambiance is beautiful, and the staff—especially Olivia—makes it unforgettable.
Great hotel with underground garage parking. When leaving the hotel, we had some issues getting our food credits. The night we arrived we were told it was a free meal, and the next morning they said they couldn't find the credits that we already paid for, they ended up giving us cards for $10/person for food credits. Michael at the bar was kind enough to comp the meals for us since we were told otherwise. The food came out hot and was delicious as well. Shout-out to Michael, I will come back to this hotel every time just because of his service
Corporate greed is on full display at Marriott hotels now. It used to be somewhat discrete and flexible but not anymore. Dynamic pricing means that the guest may get charged a different rate every night for no particularly clear reason. The property is chronically short staffed and because real estate and the cost of living in Boulder are so high, it's almost impossible to see the staff shortage scenario improving. The $25.00 per night parking charge is a classy touch!
This hotel really impressed me. The staff is top-notch—professional, friendly, and always ready to help. The bar and restaurant are excellent, offering great food and drinks that make it easy to stay in and enjoy the property. The rooms are super clean and well-kept. Housekeeping does a fantastic job; everything was spotless during my stay. It’s clear they really take pride in maintaining high standards. Parking is a little on the pricey side, but that’s to be expected in this area, and honestly, it’s worth it for the convenience and security. Overall, this hotel is a great choice and I’ll definitely return.
