The Table Mountain Inn presents a mixed experience, with highlights including excellent staff, a convenient downtown location, and a pleasant restaurant. However, concerns regarding valet security, inconsistent service quality, and dated room conditions emerge from guest reviews.

We stayed at the Table Mountain Inn during the weekend of our daughter's wedding, We shared the hotel with many of our out of town friends and family who we referred there for the event. The groom's parents also hosted a Welcome Dinner the night before the wedding that cost over $8,000. So all told, we dropped a lot of money there. That part of the stay was nice, however, we experienced an unfortunate incident with the valet parking. Shortly after we checked out, we discovered that an envelope containing $700 was missing from our center console. Of course we were shocked because no one had access (the keys) to our vehicle other than the valets at Table Mountain. Upon discovering that the envelope had been pilfered, we called the hotel and spoke to the GM who offered neither reassurances nor apologies. Matter of fact, he told us that the video surveillance in the garage is deleted four or five days after it is recorded, so there was no way for them to verify the incident. We trusted Table Mountain, and they let us down. Read less

The service here was fantastic. We came here late in the evening due to a bad VERBO. They were so accommodating and welcoming to us. The food at the restaurant the morning after was fantastic with great service from the wait staff.

We have had a wonderful stay at the Table Mountain Inn. Upon check in, our reservation was incomplete (through no fault of the staff). The desk clerk, whose name I failed to get (check in the evening of 12/27/2025) was very accommodating and made sure our reservation was properly addressed. We had table service in the cantina, Chris was our server. She was a kind, efficient and accommodating. On the second night of our stay, we had a celebratory dinner in the cantina. Sierra was at our service. She handled our table of 6 with grace and ease. However, not all of the service we received was top notch. Sammy, the front desk, clerk on the evening of 12/28/2025, was unhelpful, rude, and unprofessional. Had it not been for our experience with Sammy, I would have given five stars all around.

Had reservations to the restaurant December 27th around 7pm. Opted for the valet since it was free, expecting no issues. Food was great, restaurant itself was great. But when it came time to get my car back after dinner, I was told my headlights were left on and that my battery was dead. So I’m left waiting outside for them to jump it and bring it down for me, only for them to ask if I had my own jumper cables, after more waiting. Thankfully I did and they had a vehicle for me to jump off of. But what a terrible valet experience. If I didn’t have jumper cables, would I be forced to wait longer for a tow truck guy to jump it? Just very unprofessional overall as they just left the headlight switch on “assumed they would automatically turn off.” Feel like they should have their own jumper box for cases like this, especially when it’s their own fault…

Perfect location to be in downtown Golden. Right across the street from Woody’s Pizza which is a must visit while in Golden. Hospitality was top notch at The Table Mountain Inn. Everyone we came in contact with was accommodating, professional and helpful. The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Temperature easily regulated for comfort. Decor fits w the area. The restaurant on site was fabulous!! We made reservations as they get busy for dinner on a weekend. Portions were huge. Delish!! We would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant next time in Golden!!

We used Table Mountain Inn as the preferred hotel for our wedding guests. We also hosted our Welcome Event at the hotel the night before our wedding! We had a few different contacts we worked with throughout the year leading up to our big day, but each of them were phenomenal! Judy, Stephanie, Kevin, and Shanequa - all very quick, communicative, kind, and easy to work with. Our guests were raving about the food and the space! We used the Kokopelli room and the adjacent patio. It was perfect and exactly what we wanted. Our bartender, Kaycee was great, as well as the 2nd bartender (which I don't recall her name) but it was all wonderful!! Highly recommend!

Loved our stay at this property! The history is fascinating and its central location combined with the decent price point for the convenience was awesome. We stayed in the suite which was HUGE and loved the whirlpool tub. Bed was comfy as well. The staff were friendly and super accommodating. If you are in town for a concert at Red Rocks like we were or just in Golden to visit, choose this hotel! You’ll love it too.

Overall we would stay here again but there were some negatives. We checked in around 11PM on Friday night and the man at the front desk was not courteous, friendly or helpful. Just zero personality. Barely answered questions we had for him - seemed like we bothered him checking in honestly. The rooms were spacious and even though it's a bit dated, the room was clean and we had good shower pressure and hot water which I always appreciate. Now the beds need updating. The pillows were terrible (lumpy and small - but I think we had 6 on the bed) and the mattress was springy. The sheets however were soft and plentiful and that helped. Liked the little terrace and the ability to open the windows to better appreciate the view and cool air. Didn't love the tiny lot across the street for self parking. You have to share that lot with people eating at Woody's restaurant and there are maybe only 20 spots there. A couple times we had to drive around for a few minutes to wait for a spot to open.

Stayed here randomly and I really liked the vibe and the valet service was great! Our room was clean and had a good rustic vibe, but the smell was terrible. It had that wet carpet smell. It was so strong we bought a candle because it was so bad. My guess was the air conditioner filter was the cause but not sure. I really hope it wasn't the carpet. Locating the room was interesting too. I could take the elevator up and walk around and keep walking and keep walking and keep walking till you find it. Or you could go upstairs, thru a door and down stair and then down the ramp, or take elevator up go thru door, up stairs and down stair to back up stair and then back down stairs. (I know this sounds crazy) I think Our room number was 223. Overall it was a nice hotel with nice people and in a great location. I would not go out of my way to stay here again, but If I needed a room here I would stay again.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The building may look nice from the outside, but the inside tells a different story—dated rooms, uncomfortable beds, and a musty odor that never goes away. But the real issue was the staff, specifically a man named Kevin who claimed to be the operations director. His behavior was shockingly rude and completely unprofessional. He talked over me, dismissed my concerns, and showed zero interest in resolving the clear reservation error caused by the hotel. It felt more like he was trying to win an argument than help a guest. Honestly, I don’t believe for a second he’s a legitimate operations director—nothing about his conduct reflected leadership or accountability. To make matters worse, we were nearly charged twice due to their internal mistake. No apology, no solution—just attitude. We ended up leaving the hotel entirely because of how poorly it was handled. Avoid this place if you expect even basic customer service.
